Moving to the Dorking area from South London where we've been really happy with my 2yr old's nursery for the past year. Nervous about finding a new one. Visited Asquith in Dorking which seemed great but very few children (only 8 places taken of around 20 for 2-3 yrs group). Am I missing something? Any info on Asquith or any others in Dorking area massively appreciated please! Thank you.

Don't forget it's November and numbers would be low. In September most of the big room's children disappear and they have to re-stock it with toddlers. However, 20 toddlers in one room is too much. If I was unlucky enough to have children I would not send them to a toddler room with more than about 16 children.

You could also look at the Active Learning nursery and there is another one in Chichester Road I think it is called Major Minors.

Dorking nursery also has a 2-3 section. Other popular pre-schools are Butterhill and St Paul's church nursery. The latter 3 do not provide daycare so you'd need to find a child minder to cover the extra hours.

I don't have any direct experience of any of these.
