One nursery to suit both or separate nurseries?

Have a dilemma.

DS1 is at a nursery just now which is OK, he is happy there, Im fairly happy with it.
They have offered DS2 a place to start in May. It would be easy for me to do pick up and drop offs and get to work on time.

However, DS1 been offered place at local primary school nursery from Sept . I feel this would be good for him and his transition to school but Im struggling to find childminder to do pick up drop off.

If I find a childminder and DS1 leaves current nursery to go to primary school I could move DS2 to a nearer nursery that I feel has better babyroom but that would mean 2 drop offs and pick ups.

Or I could ask childminder to take both and do drop offs pick ups for DS1 at primary school nursery (but then DS2 misses out on nursery experience and will be with older children).

Too many options, really not sure which is best for both, WWYD??

Is it likely that DS1will go to that primary school? If so, you'll have to face this question anyhow. What hours are the school's nursery, and what would you do over the holidays?

I realise that's not helping answer the question you have right now, but it might be worth having a think now about the medium term and whether you can make all the modifications now, or want to put it all off until then.

Probably will go to that primary so Im thinking it would be good for him to get to know other kids. Im hoping to get him a full day place on the days I work. I only work term time.

You hit the nail on the head, do I change arrangements now or next year?
