does anyone know of any nursery's that use gentle discipline, NON VIOLENT COMMUNICATION or attachment parenting philosophies in London?

I'm looking for that or nannies / babysitters with this approach.

Thanks

Shouldn't they all do in theory?

If you want a nursery then you are best to look for one that keeps its staff. For example in my daughter's room one nursery nurse has been there 15 years, another 8 years and the third member of staff has been there 2 years. Generally if the staff are happy then they will be less stressed and less likely to shout at your kids.

In theory nursery staff are not supposed to shout at children, but nursery nurses are human. They will also follow your wishes when it comes to settling for naps and how much the baby is cuddled.

Being with a screaming toddler is enough to make anyone lose it. A good nursery will support their staff and allow a member of staff their breaks and time out to avoid them getting to the point where they shout.

Or maybe you could go to a sling meet or la leche league and see if they know of any childminders with similar parenting ideals to you.
