Please read and share:

I'm Diana Waha, a Speech and Language Therapist and an MSc student at Birkbeck (University of London), currently training to become a Child Psychotherapist. I'm reaching out with a unique, rewarding opportunity for expecting families in Greater London to contribute directly to child mental health training.

What I'm Looking For
I'm seeking a pregnant family in the Greater London area willing to allow me to undertake a unique and foundational part of my clinical training: Infant Observation.

What is Infant Observation?
This process involves a direct, non-intrusive observation of your baby weekly in your home. It is a highly valuable, long-term experience crucial for:
• Deepening my understanding of early relationships
• Observing the fascinating emergence of a child's physical and emotional development in a natural, real-life setting.

This isn't an assessment. I would be a non-judgmental, respectful observer, absorbing the world of an infant and their family.

Why Take Part?
This is an excellent way for families to support the next generation of Child Mental Health professionals. Your participation offers invaluable real-world learning that is fundamental to my training. It’s a chance to share your precious early journey and support a student's crucial education.

• Non-Intrusive: My role is purely observational.
• Highly Ethical: This process is a core, well-established part of Child Psychotherapy training.
• Direct Support: You'll be making a tangible difference to my professional development and future work with children and families.

Get In Touch
If you are pregnant and based in Greater London, or know someone who might be interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please don't hesitate to reach out!

To discuss this further, please contact me:
Email: [email protected]
WhatsApp: 07980 935669

Thank you so much for your time and consideration in supporting the future of Child Psychotherapy.

Diana
