So my youngest DD (age 12) is suffering from severe anxiety, unable to settle to sleep and someone had suggested using one of these. I was wondering if any one had used them.

She is working with a counsellor, we know the source of the anxiety etc and are working on that but as it is tied into my divorce from my narcissistic ex husband ( her DF) it is not an easy fix.

So just looking for an honest opinion on these!! Thanks

No advice sorry, just a hopeful bump for u as I would also like to hear more about these from people who have them.

Nope, didn't do anything useful for my DD.

I have one (not the bear edition, just the normal one). I find it really useful if ever I have a night where I just can't wind down. There's something about it pulsing that I find really calming. That said, it does seem to get mixed reviews so I think it's a bit hit and miss as to whether it works or not.

4 of us tried it and hated it. I know lots of others who've found the same.

Have you tried magnesium supplements? Preferably magnesium chloride 'oil' applied topically. Most people are deficient and deficiency is a common cause of anxiety.

Thank you all!

She is already taking magnesium supplements although haven't tried it topically. We have tried all the usual things - rescue remedy, various essential oils, warm baths, white noise, fidget toys, calming music, weighted blankets etc.

So all the above keeps the anxiety at bay fairly well during the day but problem is that she still has flashbacks to past events at night when trying to get to sleep!

She is working with a counsellor and is hopefully making some headway. The counsellor uses a Sensate (vagus nerve stimulator) during the sessions and that was where my DD got the idea for the CalmCarry as she felt the Sensate worked and wondered if it was similar . But the Sensate is closer to £300 rather than the £50 for the CalmCarry!!!
