How to get rid of thrush!!

Just that really. I’ve had it 3 weeks and tried pessaries, cream oral medication and took myself to the chemist today for another canisten pessary. I’ve also been prescribed a cream for vaginal dryness.

I’m drinking sugar free water, wearing cotton knickers and avoiding baths.

Any tips?

I lived with perpetual thrush until I started using Canesflor probiotic pessaries. Whole pack at first to clear it and then an occasional pessary to maintain when clear.

They will be no good (will not do harm, but won't 'cure') if you have a variant strain that is resistant and that is why it is important to have a swab fully analysed for all strains of candida.

I was misdiagnosed for years. I had atrophy. GP didn’t notice it nor did a very flippant gynaecologist. Researched estriol cream and requested that on prescription. It’s been like a miracle x
