A mad thing happened on my way home from the shop last night.

A man on the same road sort of chatted me up. He gave me his name and number and asked me to give him a call.

The last time that happened to me was in the 20th century. I didn't even think that stuff happened anymore and definitely not for me.🙈

Anyway, I'm buzzing.🤣

When I saw him he looked familiar. As he chatted I realised we'd met before. A while ago I was in a hurry and nearly bumped into him as he was packing up his car. I made a joke and we chatted briefly before I had to run.

I googled him and its the same guy.🙈

I actually am looking for someone.🙈 I've been single for 7 years and one of my resolutions for 2026 was to get a snog at least.🤣

I'm really busy this week, but I think I'll text him next week.

I married the man who stopped me in the street and asked for my number! Hope it goes well.

Back with an update.

After a week of texting we went out for dinner. He was great craic and offered to pay the bill, but there was no spark.

We've gone out together since. It's good having a friend who lives round the corner.☺️
