Fasciculations/muscle twitching NOT restless leg

Can anyone help with this? My serum magnesium is mildly low (.60 mmol/L). Can this be the reason for my fasciculations?

Can be a symptom of low B12 levels. DD has pernicious anaemia (unable to absorb B12 via dietary sources so needs injections to boost her levels every few months) and always knows when she’s due as she will start to get random muscle twitching.
