Like to lurk but have never posted, never been brave enough I suppose. Love the humour, am in awe of the support offered and a little bit frightened by some of the flamings (even when they might be well deserved).
So a bit about me, I'm 22 work in Local Government have a dp who's 32. As my user name suggests I like sharks and flamingoes and I like to crochet, to draw and watch Netflix.

Joined this evening for support and insight as my DS turns 3 and we contemplate a move from SW London to Surrey. Suddenly so grown up. Me and the child.

Stressedmum I can help there, I know Thurrock well and Treetops is an excellent school.

Hello, I need some advice! My friend has just given birth and is determined to take her newborn to Glastonbury Festival in four weeks time to finish her 12-years-in-the-making documentary. I may be going to help her. As a mother of two boys, we took them when they were 9 and 13, which was hard enough. Has anyone ever taken a tiny baby to a music festival and if so, what tips do you have (apart from don't do it!) ?

Hello, I am new too and have never posted/commented before.

Trying to find a post about anyone who has fallen pregnant quickly after coming off Cerazette. If anyone can point me in the right direction lol. Thank you :)

Hi Kimona and Member863351 - a very warm welcome to Mumsnet! Just to let you know that we don't allow advertising on our main Talk Boards, but you're very welcome to post about your services for free on the Mumsnet Local boards (where members who live near each other can swap advice and info).

Here's how do that:

FIND YOUR MUMSNET LOCAL SITE
Go to local.mumsnet.com, and log in. You can choose your local area by clicking on the name. This will bring up a list of place names on the right hand side. Choose the appropriate place from this list. This will bring you to the Local homepage for that area.

ADD YOUR LISTING
Once you've got to the right Mumsnet Local site, click on the large pink button on the top right of the page that says 'Add a listing' and enter the relevant details under the right section. Be warned that there is a word limit, so please keep your info nice and succinct.

We hope this information is enough to get started, but please do get in touch if anything is unclear.

Hello, just joined today. Probably slightly older than average - my two sons are in their 20s but seems to lots of interesting stuff on here. Looking forward to joining in Smile

ChunkyMummy · 17/06/2016 00:21

Hello Smile
I've just joined, have observed for a while through fb posts though.
I'm mummy to ds (9) and ds (7) also stepmum to dd (13), nice to know I'm not the only one going through certain things, the world can be a little lonely otherwise!
