Noise cancelling headphones for autistic adult

Hi there
I have very specific issues with sleeping in that I'm ok at home where I can turn literally everything off at night but if I'm anywhere else there are always pipes and wires buzzing in the walls. I cannot sleep with this noise, even with foam earplugs in.

In hotels I can hear the aircon even when it's not on, and heating being on is outrageously loud in the radiators and under the floors. Some electrical items also give out such a disgusting high buzzing sound I don't know how anyone can bear it, though objectively I know it might be a niche problem.

Please can you recommend earplugs for sleep that cancel out pipes and other droning / clicking noises like electricity?

Any help much appreciated! Thank you!

I use Loop Dream earplugs. I found their memory foam tips uncomfortable so swapped them for the softer tips which were included in the packet.

Another vote for loop dream

I use loop earplugs, but as someone who suffers with tinnitus, earplugs can heighten this.
I started using sleep music sounds to help aswell. I use the headspace app and found the brown noise suits me best (play this alongside wearing earplugs).
I have been looking at headphones that can be used for sleeping to play the music through (and noise cancel). Anker sound cow do some, though rather £££! I may invest thought (have tried a headband with speakers but find them uncomfortable as a side sleeper.

So many earplugs all claiming to do the same thing! Might just have to get the loops and hope they do the job. Thanks

My husband has terrible trouble getting a good sleep for many reasons, often the reasons you have mentioned. I got him one of these for Christmas, at his request, and he is currently still upstairs asleep at 10:50 on a Saturday morning.
