I want to tell my social worker I hate her

I have learning disabilities. My social worker doesn’t turn up. recently she hasn’t spoken to me in 6 weeks. I am supposed to see her once a week. I am supposed to have a personal assistant in place and I don’t. My first advocate fought for me to have one and as soon as the case was closed with the advocate the personal assistant never transpired. I have had to get another advocate to speak to social services on my behalf. I don’t know what to do. I am asking on mumsnet because there’s a lot of parents who have knowledge on getting help for disabilities

Hi. Are you over 18? Do you have an adult social care social worker? Do you pay money to the LA for care? Do you have a care plan?

Yes I’m over 18. I am supposed to have a disability social worker, but they have given me a mental health social worker instead. I have multiple severe mental health issues. They are ignoring my disabilities by not giving me a disability social worker. I don’t pay anything. I was told by my previous advocate that I am entitled to a personal assistant and disability social worker because of my issues, and she fought for me to have one and then it never happened. I don’t know if I have a plan

There are different levels of disability support. Usually if you get services like a PA they get you to make a financial contribution. You would have a plan.

I'm wondering if you are on the right level of support.

You might need to get someone to help you contact the council and find out what is going on.

I will get her to speak to the council.
i was supposed to have an assessment. That reminds me I didn’t want to pay so maybe that’s why. Im on benefits. But ive just read that as part of the financial assessment they asses disability related expenditure and can’t ask me to pay. I’m going to start a new thread and ask about what they consider reasonable spending
