ADHD coaching

Hi,
I've name changed for this as it's very identifying. I'm currently training to be an ADHD coach and I'm finding it fascinating. But I'm not sure who my clients will be as I don't actually know many ND adults (I don't plan to work with children) and I'm not much of a self-promoting type. I wondered if I could do some research here to find out what people know about ADHD coaching and what more they might like to know. So if anyone would mind answering the following questions I'd be really grateful.
A) have you heard of ADHD coaching and do you know what it entails?
B) have you heard of Access to work? Did you know it is a free government funded scheme that can help with all kinds of support (including) coaching which may help you to succeed at work?
C) would you find it helpful if someone helped you to apply for Access to Work support?
D) any other questions!
Thanks so much in advance for any responses.

Hi
I have heard of it but can't get my head around how it would help. Which I guess means I don't know what it entails.
I did not know about Access to work. Please say more!
Yes it would helpful to be helped in applying!
Since ADHD is incurable does one need life long coaching?!

Basically it helps by giving you strategies to help you overcome problems caused by executive functioning issues which are common in adhd-ers and support you in making changes in your life/work.
Access to work can offer you up to £66K per annum in support/accomodations to help keep you in work. you apply directly but need an employer or to be self-employed

thank you - I saw that you continued in chat but it fried my brain reading the replies. I would really like some coaching but feel like it would be more 'emotional' support / cheer leading / reminding me I am worthy etc., the worst part of adhd is feeling rubbish useless etc.,
I manage my home really well but my brain is another story.... feel free to Pm me if you want a guinea pig...

Can I ask where you are doing your training and how it is going? I am looking to start something similar as part of my current job but my employer has given me free reign and I have no idea where to start

For me, coaching is way to figure out what you need to overcome challenges due to your ADHD. Little strategies for example could include taking your card details off your phone so you're not in pulse suspending and you have to have that moment where you choose to go and get your debit card, for example
Also strategies to manage relationships, including parenting. I wouldn't say coaching just relates to Work.
