GP refusing shared care protocol as of 22 Dec for adhd

Does anyone have any up to date info please? The GP was perfectly happy to proceed with a shared care agreement for dd then came across an email from 22 Dec 2023 with new guidelines stating those with a private diagnosis will no longer be accepted onto the NHS.

So she suggested the only way to get into the NHS is to wait until dd's name reaches the top of the waiting list for an NHS assessment. However, upon ringing to check where she is on the list I've now been told that if a private diagnosis has been given, it's not possible to get an NHS one.

Please can anyone shed any light. Is this a local thing or governmental and how the hell do I navigate round it??

Absolutely gutted at the thought of what this means for us 😢

My DD is still on shared care but they did demand a meds review update

I fear there's a big difference between adult and
child protocol
