I made a sensory room in my house!

It's primarily for the kids but I've used it every day for the past 3 days.
It still needs decorating and I need to buy some more bits for the walls but currently we have:

A bubble tube
A black out tent
A plasma ball
A rotating ceiling projector
A weighted blanket
Tonnes of squishmallows
A shelf full of fidgets
A tuff tray with scented slime, sand and playdoh

When they were at school today I got in the tent with the weighted blanket and loads of squishmallows and omg, I haven't felt as relaxed in a long time.

I would LOVE a sensory room. Yours sounds amazing. Totally jealous!

It's not massive or anything, it's literally just the spare bedroom.
I've ended up down a rabbit hole and have Pinterest boards about them now 🤣

The first time I went to a real one was when my middle DC was a baby. He was ill from birth and a charity used to take us to a beautiful one. It was massive as it catered for disabled adults, and I absolutely loved it.
