Strange and sometimes lucid dreams

Is this a neurodiverse thing? When I tell other people about my dreams - which might be odd in itself - they don't seem to relate. I should probably keep my dreams to myself but I feel the need to tell others as they are so real.
It's seems that most people don't have flying or lucid dreams. Last night was found myself in 2 different dystopian worlds. Only told dh about that one Grin

I think so, both myself and my also Autistic husband have full on, narrative, cinematic dreams!

Nothing like the abstract concepts of dream interpretation that seem to be talked about in general.

I often have lucid dreams. I don't know if it's a ND trait. I remember the first time it happened, when I was six; I was dreaming that I was at the local swimming pool and suddenly realised I was dreaming, without waking up; that was 42 years ago 😁

I do! Always have.
I find that if I wake up in the early hours, the dreams following are lucid.

Yes I have movie style dreams that I often wake up in or just after. They are exhausting. DS (also autistic) hardly ever remembers his dreams.
