I would like to read more about my ADHD and autism. I have a couple of books that I have found really useful - How to keep house whilst drowning was amazingly useful for me.

I also have "you mean I'm not lazy stupid or crazy" which I haven't read thanks to my ADHD brain.

I'd love to read (or try to) about autism in women and how I can make things easier for myself. I was just diagnosed on Monday and there are so many different books!

It's not about how to live with autism but I have been reading Neurotribes, its a history of autism and it's truly fascinating. It's been interesting seeing the descriptions of people through the ages and resonating with them, it does have some shocking parts to it as well as it goes through Nazi Germany, the development of ABA therapy and so on, so it's worth bearing that in mind if you decide to read it. I am just over halfway through and am thoroughly enjoying it.

There's a few books I've read. I'm currently reading 'Autism in Heels' by Jennifer Cook O'Toole.
And I'm also reading 'Unmasking Autism' by Devon Price.

I've also read 'Nerdy, Shy, and Socially Inappropriate: A User Guide to an Asperger Life' by Cynthia Kim.

Explaining Humans by Camilla Pang.

'Odd Girl Out' by Laura James.

And Spectrum Women - Walking to the best of Autism is a good one too.

I'd recommend Women and Girls with Autism Spectrum Disorder by Sarah Hendrickx. I bought it when I was trying to figure out whether to have myself assessed. She also has some good youtube stuff.
