The worst item of clothing for me is shoes. I can cope with most labels and even some itchy fabrics but shoes are an absolute nightmare.

I'm barefoot as much as possible, but obviously in dreary England I can only be outside barefoot in the garden for about 1 week of the year Grin

I don't have wide feet but I have to buy the widest fitting that will stay on because I can't stand the encased feeling.
The main shoes I wear are Crocs and wellies, for the sheer width of them.
My husband managed to find a wide pair of Chelsea boots from Simply Be that mean I can dress a bit more formal if I really had to.

My dream would be to live in New Zealand where its totally normal to be barefoot, even in shops.

Oh god, yes! I have hypermobility and a dodgy right foot and ankle so I have to wear orthotics. I can't walk in normal shoes and I have to have a rocker sole. There's only one type of trainer that I can get away with otherwise I'm in pain. I buy them from amazon and it means I can never wear sandals or look nice in a dress 😭 I don't know what I'd do if I had to go somewhere nice.

I'm the opposite!

I cannot bear my feet touching things. I can walk bare foot indoors, but I can literally feel a speck of dust my feet are that sensitive. Plus, I have a high instep and have had plantar fasciitis in the past so indoors I wear decent slippers - Strive slippers support my instep and when I'm outdoors I wear shoes or trainers or boots.

The thought of having bare feet outdoors makes me squirm because as well as feeling everything I tread on, I don't like my feet getting wet from rain or damp grass etc so sandals are out when the UK weather is doing its usual thing by raining.

My eldest DS with ASD is exactly the same. He even sleeps in his socks.
