Do you feel the cold or feel too hot all of the time?

I've always felt too hot and struggle with this, even in the winter. I can't wear too many layers or I end up boiling and feeling so uncomfortable I could cry. The house runs cool and we don't put the central heating on and just have a stove in the lounge. If I go outside for a walk I end up too hot, even when it's freezing.

I can't cope with the summer and am unable to function at around 26 degrees C.

I've been like this all my life, not just during menopause.

Anyone else like this?

Not quite the same but I definitely prefer to feel cold than hot and dress accordingly.

I dread the months between May and October as once the temperature reaches the twenties I start feeling really uncomfortable. By the mid-twenties I'm struggling to get by. I feel very sad at the winter solstice as it means lighter days and we're inching back to too-hot weather.

Yup, I am. I. 32 and I got so hot and sweaty when I do anything that takes a bit of effort. I absolutely hat the summer. I spend months in a constant sweaty state.

And apparently I can't string a sentence together 🙄

Yes I absolutely hate the heat. I also cannot understand why everyone buys these Oodie things. I feel suffocated and uncomfortable just looking at them. If I get too warm I get in a blind panic and almost have to rip things off me like I can't get the stuff off quick enough. Possibly doesn't help that my asthma is triggered by dry heat so i can't have blowers on in the car. Have to ask other drivers to switch them off too (usually just my Dad. I don't do taxis and don't go anywhere with any one else any more as just too stressful)

Opposite for me, I'm always cold.

I'm not very aware of my own body temperature, or at self-regulating.

I 'run cold' in that my basal temperature is always slightly lower than average (so say around 36, rather than 37 degrees - has been thus all my life, no thyroid issues or anything), but I don't necessarily feel the cold, although my hands/feet will almost always be cool/cold to the touch.

By the time I DO feel cold, I will be very cold, and it will take me a long time or a hot bath/shower to warm up properly again.

I also, rather weirdly, sweat easily, particularly in a warm bedroom. I still haven't quite worked out what the ideal temperature or bedclothes are for me...

I wear layers, annoying in warm weather as I suddenly realise I'm boiling and have 3000000000 items of clothing to carry about - that's what it feels like!

My asthma is set off by the cold and so I need to keep warm, but all I need to do is move about and I am so hot - and not forgetting the menopause, sigh...

MIL insists on her rooms being kept at around 26C which is awful when I have to clean them (costs a bloody fortune too) I am of the school of warm clothes, cool rooms and keep the bedroom window open in midwinter.

In the summer we have a couple of large standing fans that I can move around in the kitchen. For all year round, I used to use a hand fan, but now I have one of these wee beauties, it can be bent to sit by you, or be handheld www.johnlewis.com/anyday-john-lewis-partners-handheld-and-foldable-desk-fan-4-inch/p4895489 I think it might be on amazon too?

I spent most of my life in the warmer parts of the UK and love hot weather - as long as there is a breeze. My body temperature is low too, usually around 36C
