Does anyone here sensory seek?

I am adverse to sounds and I don't like certain clothes and smells but in other ways I sensory seek lot.
I'm a sniffer, I smell EVERYTHING. Clothes, animals, myself... everything I hold to be honest.

Taste wise, I hugely sensory seek. There are hardly any foods I dislike and I love mixing different flavours and textures on my tongue.

I love pressure. I permanently wear leggings or tights for the compression and I love my weighted blanket.

Anyone else?

Massively so, particularly taste and touch.

I am a very adventurous cook and there is very little I won't at least try (although I've been vegetarian for the last eight years or so, so that narrows the field a bit). I particularly like spicy food with a lot of crunchy textures (hello, Thai and Vietnamese!).

Pressure is very important to me - a weighted blanket was life-changing.

I used to spin and walk on my toes as a child and occasionally still do toe-walk (it's one of my 'red flags' that I'm getting stressed or overwhelmed).

Its funny when you see those lists shared on Facebook where people count how many food items they wouldn't eat. I will generally eat them all 😅

I didn't really think I did this but my safe space is my bed or my couch where I have fluffy and sort blankets and cushions, I use dim lighting and have a flavoured smelling candle.

I also eat sour sweets, love to take my shoes and socks off at the beach for the cold sea but absolutely detest the sand. Like crunchy food. Hmmm

That's definitely sensory seeking! I like all the things you have mentioned, especially the sour sweets. I love fizzy ones too.
