Never saw the point of that movies. Mrs BGD gets all emotional and I'm looking at her completely not getting it!!
Still I cried at the end of Saving Private Ryan.. well not really but you know what I mean! Boys equivilent.

how could you not cry when the mam dies and leaves her daughter with her best friend...are ye made of stone man? what happens at the end of saving private ryan? don't say they save him

every day I read the book
At the end it comes back from the flashback which is the main body of the film and Mr Ryan is stood next to the grave of the officer who helped save him and in his dying breath says don't waste your life son (or words to that effect) And Mr Ryan turns to his wife crying and says 'tell me I did alright? I didn't waste my life did I?
it's along those lines and when the film finishes it makes you want to go out and shoot a few Germans... Not the best film I've seen but pretty good as war films go.
