In very boring muso way I am half dreading half looking forward to new lp. Youth and Young Manhood was an exceptional lp - what I've heard of this one is a bit more stadium rock. That said, they are still a hot lot...............

I went to see them at Brixton Academy last month and they were fab - loads of older people there.

KOL are lovely young men, but aren't exactly cutting edge are they really? The new one is very MOR. I bet most of their fans are 30+. Saw them at Brixton in 2004 and it was a very mixed crowd.

was having this discussion with one of the girls at work today , we love them to (she is 35 im 31) she went to see them at the UEA and said they were fantastic but they dont talk to the fans between songs, just came on stage and introduced the song and sang, no banter with each other ow with the crowd. but excellent otherwise

I think they probably were 'cutting edge' around 'Youth and Young Manhood' but might have moved a bit more MOR by the sounds of this latest one.

Saw them at Glasto and no, they do not talk at all in between the songs about from 'We are Kings of Leon' - that doesn't really bother me when they are good tho (and hot!)
