Who shall I check out at Latitude?

Off to Latitude next weekend. It's our first ever family camping trip - should be interesting as dd (4) is slightly less easy-going than Naomi Campbell and I am will be 12 wks pg and still feeling sick.

Nonetheless, I am very excited. I am aware of most of today's popular beat combos (I listen to Radio 1 in the car when not shouting at conversing with dd) but I'm not familiar with a lot of the line-up. Can people recommend those groups who are great live, please? I've got pretty broad tastes musically, so I'm willing to try anything good!

Sat: Sigur Ros for a bit; Ida Maria; The House of Love if they're playing the oldies; Wild Beasts are remarkable if a bit short on tunes

Sun: Grinderman; Joanna Newsom; Okkervil River; Glasvegas; Patrick Watson; Those Dancing Days; Lykke Li; Shortwave Set; Polly S cattergood

I'm going - looking forward to seeing Joanna Newsome the most, she is amazing.
After her, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Seasick Steve, Guillemots, The Go Team are fun, Martha Wainwright.

Have a working ticket to do craft with children on the Suffolk Wildlife Trust bit, so I might meet some of you! Should have a secret mnetter signal or something.

I would definitely try to see: Martha Wainwright, Julian Cope, Seasick Steve, Amadou & Mariam, The Aliens, The House Of Love (for old times' sake) and of course the marvellous, mad Joanna Newsom.

Plus loads of comedy. And Simon Armitage.

She is mad isn't she, but I saw her at the Barbican and it was the best gig I've ever seen, it was almost unbearable it was so good.

I love that Ida Maria song 'oh my god' I hope they play that. And the Breeders! Used to absolutely love their album Pod. Beth Orton can be a bit samey and dull, but would still happily watch her.

I saw her at Green Man last year - 'twas fabulous.

Latitude looks great this year, actually - wish I'd thought of going!

Intrigued by "mad" Joanna Newsom - will check her out.

Sigur Ros from my tent while i was reading my book, nice soundtrack

and the idiot who got arrested in the family field late on Sunday

Franz Ferdinad were ok too
sorry I missed Elbow Martha and Guillemots

the kids fields was great, despite being bigger third year I still liked it a lot
