Got tickets for a gig for me and my DD (currently 13 but will be 14 before the date of concert). It's a 14Plus gig. She doesn't have a passport as never been abroad. No photo ID. I obviously have her birth certificate... Don't really want to take it! She looks her age so probably will be fine, but what else could I take?!

Can you contact the venue & ask what ID they accept?

@hpertrophywife they wont even ask to see it!! my son takes his neice (my grandaughter) to all the gigs and has done for a couple of years now. as long as the accompanying person is obviously an adult they wont ask questions.

when my kids were that age, there was some form of id that the local Council could issue. Racking my brain to remember what it was called. Think their tutor group teacher could sign it.

In Scotland we have Young Scot cards which are photo ID, give free bus travel and discounts in shops, cinemas etc - is there an English equivalent? Im presuming you're in England! My DC uses their card for gigs. Or can you ask the venue what they would accept?

Not sure if it is the same thing but there is a CitizenCard which has Home Office approval I understand.
