Valuing a piano

I've looked at the previous posts on this but they tend to refer to US sites.

We are selling a piano (upright, nothing special - not antique or special wood- but cared for) and the prices range from £200 ish on Ebay as a starting price, to 99p and then £900 on a local piano dealer's site.

I'm hoping for some guidance from a pianist I know who teaches, but meanwhile does anyone have any advice? We paid £1K for it from a dealer/ shop some years ago.

Can you get a dealer out to value it for you? Or visit one for comparison?

What make is it? To be honest pianos aren’t keeping their value as the quality of digital pianos have improved.

What make is it? That is the most important factor in pricing.

Pianos don't lose value after a few years like cars. A good piano will still be a good piano 30 years later.

And a digital keyboard has little to do with a real piano. Above a certain level of skill, playing a digital keyboard is not very rewarding at all.
