Not sure about disability award

I was awarded high rate care and standard rate mobility for adult disability payment. I have severe agoraphobia. I am autistic and I still always needed to use a lot of coping mechanisms to leave my house and feel exhausted by it and get support to do it. I’m classed as unable to leave the house but if I didn’t have agoraphobia I think they would’ve given me higher rate mobility because of my other issues to do with autism. thought I would be entitled to higher rate mobility because of that.I did a mandatory reconsideration and they said no changes. Do you think it’s worth taking to tribunal or do you think what I’m getting is correct

Nothing to lose by trying - and a huge number of decisions are overturned in the claimant's favour at Tribunal.

You have a very good award that you could risk losing. Unless you ahve extremely good medical evidence which would support enhanced mobility I would not risk it.

Why would she have risk of losing it pls?

Because when they review an award they look at the whole award again and it can go up, down or stay the same. This is why op would need to be confident she has good medical evidence to support an award of enhanced mobility which to be honest is hard to get for MH.
