Are foldable tricycles any good?

Hi,
I'm an adult with dyspraxia who's thinking about transport options. I can ride a bike, but not very well, so that I need to concentrate too much on the actual riding part to be able to either a) enjoy it or b) not get hit by a car. Independent cycling isn't really a viable option, which makes me sad. (I can't drive either but tbf I haven't actually tried yet, I'm just convinced I'd be terrible at it)
Anyway, I've been looking at tricycles recently and came across foldable ones, which would give me more options to take it on the train, and it could be put in the car if I was going for a ride with someone else (a ride for fun? maybe...). My question is, are they as stable/ sturdy as normal adult tricycles? Has anyone had any experiences of using them (positive or negative)? Are they easy to put up and down?

I wonder if it might be worth trying a different forum? Even though you're asking because of dyspraxia, you might find on more general forum like Exercise you're more likely to get someone who has tried a tricycle?
