What do you do when you're on the edge of it?

Ask yourself “why” @Ardent. My diagnosis has kind of given me an internal “pass” card when things get too much. I just know to say “no, I’m not able to do/attend/join in with that”. That way, I can pace myself and do the stuff I have to do, well.

Sorry not to reply @AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy, I was having a terrible time of it.

I think I need to get better at admitting limitations and not just trying to be normal all the time...

Ardent how are things now?

I’m on edge too. Despite accommodations at work. Sometimes it is just all too much.

But I can’t tell anyone. So I’m typing it here.

need to stop before you get to the edge of it. recognising that though is difficutl, giving yourself permission and not thinking of yourself as lazy compared to others also difficult, and actaully stopping when you are working, running a house and or have children is also nearly impossible.

quick meals, precooked from the freezer meals, bulking out the last portion with a tin of something or frozen veg from the freezer so at least the childen can eat.

I still get days when I am exhausted and can hardly go on.
