Screening out noise.

I have recently discovered 'brown sound'. No, it's not toilet related Grin, it's a type of sound wave and it's nice and relaxing and screens out ambient noise which can lead to sensory overload and stress.

White sound and pink sound can be a bit high pitched and 'fizzy', but brown sound is a lower frequency and you can still concentrate and do your usual stuff whilst having it on. It's not distracting.

I have an app for my iPad/phone which I put on to block noise.

Anybody else do stuff like this?

I tend to just listen to normal music- very quietly through headphones if I need to be able to hear- or I put earplugs in. I tried some apps but I prefer music to just sound.

I'm currently sitting on the bed wearing earplugs. I also tend to tuck my iPod Nano into my bra and listen to podcasts whilst pottering about and doing housework.

Sounds good if you'll excuse the pun.
