ITN have asked us to find out how Mumsnetters with daughters feel about the anti-cervical cancer vaccine.

This mini survey is open to any Mumsnetter who has a daughter and everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to win £150 of vouchers for a store of their choice.

The survey must close by midnight on Thursday so please take a moment to fill it in now.

Thanks

ooh, nice short one

(good for those of us with short attention spa

Rachmumoftwo · 06/10/2009 23:04

Done, but agree that the questions don't ask if we are for or against jab, just whether our views had changed or not. What if they had not changed but you were against it from the start? No box to show that!

That has to be the loosest survey of all times! I really do not know what they will learn from it!

Done.

But as others have said it is not going to tell you very much..

sb6699 · 07/10/2009 11:52

Wow, that was quick. Can only assume they are looking at the effects of recent publicity rather than our views on the actual vaccine.\a

Bramshott · 07/10/2009 12:15

I've done it, but it's very restrictive. I ticked "less likely" on the basis that whereas I previously wouldn't have given it much thought, I would now probably still want my DDs to have it, but I'd think about it much more carefully.

Q3 does not allow me to express my opinion. i am not more or less concerned about the safety of the vaccine, but the media coverage has meant that i have looked at the longevity of protection offered by the vaccine, and ergo have decided that it is pointless to offer a vaccine with 6 years possible protection to a 9yo, hence she was not vaccinated last week alongside her peer group.

ie, my viewpoint has changed, but not in respect of the safety aspect, more to do with efficacity. (if that's even a word.)

lame survey, really.

pofacedandproud · 07/10/2009 16:13

I did it. I have never won anything either. I would perhaps suggest an extra question, if you have not changed your mind about the jab since the recent publicity, do you feel positively or negatively about it?

BloodRedTulips · 07/10/2009 16:51

done... i never win anything and can't even enter half the comps as a non brit [sulks]

paisleyleaf · 07/10/2009 21:24

Too quick and easy. I'd almost feel guilty winning the money for that (almost).
