What sensors would you like to have in a baby monitor?

Hi

I am in the process of developing a baby monitor and I am wondering which sensors parents would find the most useful. Possible sensors so far are:

Temperature,
Humidity,
Light - notifies if ambient light levels are too high,
Sound - notifies if ambient sound levels are too high,
Carbon monoxide,
Carbon Dioxide,
Nitrogen Oxide - Car engine pollutant,
Flammable gases,
General air quality or
Other sensor that you would like eg Barometer.

If you would choose the four that you would most like to have in a baby monitor, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks :)

Why would you want any of that stuff in a baby monitor?

I would have one in my babies room - most people have a carbon monoxide detector anyway, this would do that and more so I would buy it.

Temperature
Sound
Carbon monoxide
General air quality

Can you add one to tell you why the baby is crying? Is it just whinging for the hell of it or does it actually need something? Or a poo stench sensor Wink

I've just got a basic sound monitor. It's a baby, not a nuclear reactor. Keep it simple for me! I wouldn't want any of that stuff.

The one where if your baby holds its breath it sounds an alarm.

Temperature

Carbon monoxide possibly although I have an alarm already in my house.

Light and sounds I wouldn't be interested in as I have looked after various children who have preferred sleeping in various pitches of darkness / noiseyness

Just more stuff for parents to worry about! Air quality?in the bedroom? Seriously?

Video screen with temperature and carbon monoxide.

Temperature
humidity

Otherwise just the normal sound/video monitoring.
