We've been asked by The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) to find out - as a parent - what you know and how you feel about the classification of DVDs/videos (i.e. 12, 15, 18 etc).

Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey. It is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child, and everyone who takes part and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw to win £150 of cinema vouchers for your local cinema.

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Oh no - if there's a newer Helen than me, they'll start calling me OldGirlHelen - this cannot happen!

Will they come back and tell us the results? I'd be really interested to know.

MNHQ - do you think that some of the feedback you could give is that "cinemas are too expensive for families" Wink judging by the quips on here (mine and a good few others) we would like to go much more often but quite simply can't afford to.

MrsShrek....will pass on but not sure it is under remit of BBFC. Is an issue I'll also flag with MN campaign team as is a family friendly issue I think.

You could always be BIGHelen? My DH is know as BigQODsDH as he has a nephew called LittleQODSDH'sname

WHen my SIL had a girl, the entire family wanted her to have my name as it's a nice one.

I was HORRIFIED!! I would have henceforth been known as BIGQOD. Being very fat that's just not on........

Anyway, what's my point?
