Darn it - ah well, I've only myself to blame.

misdee · 22/08/2008 19:46

am finding it too overpowering tbh.

bit too sickly smelling.

southeastastra · 22/08/2008 19:52

they didn't pick me

oh well sounds pants anyway

TheProvincialLady · 22/08/2008 19:52

Oh dear I feel very ungrateful but I really hate the smell - very sickly. I am pregnant though, maybe that is the reason.

misdee · 22/08/2008 19:55

TPL, i am as well. i prefer freasher smelling stuff.

Nappyzoneneedssleep · 22/08/2008 19:56

I got mine yesterday - woo hoo - showered this am with it after restling with dh over it and pointing out for women! Gets very foamy which i like and smelt loovely to. Dontknow how much it costs compared with my usual 69p asda stuff.

lunavix · 22/08/2008 19:58

Is it just me or does it smell like 'Poison' perfume? Am I thinking of the right one?

BoysAreLikeDogs · 22/08/2008 20:09

[grumpy]

I got nothing, nada, zip, zilch

mammyjo · 23/08/2008 09:21

Not sure if it smells like poison perfume, but it does remind me of something. I can't remember what it is though!

It was nice and foamy, but I found the smell too strong and overpowering. I would normally go for lighter, more fruity scents. It did leave my skin quite soft though.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 24/08/2008 12:14

actually - I have already bought it. It's wonderful. I've got a skin condition on my arms and it has improved the appearance of it. It smells wonderful.

NorbertDentressangle · 25/08/2008 20:08

ooh mine came through whilst I was away on holiday so I tried it today for the second time.

I recognise the smell but can't quite place it -I think it was something available in the late 80s-early 90s when those heady, heavy "exotic" perfumes were all the rage. Was it a Body Shop one maybe? Or an Impulse-type body spray?

I'm not keen on the smell at all though -its too over-powering.

It seems to moisurise OK though. I'll report back after 5 days as they claim you'll notice a difference by then

hippipotami · 25/08/2008 23:12

Mine was on the mat when I returned from holiday on Friday night.

I am going to go against TPL and Misdee (mind you I am not pregnant) and say I LOVE the smell! Really lovely.

I don't wear perfume, and my deodorant is a non-smelly Pit Rock one, so this is lovely.
Dh is not happy though, he wanted to share this shower gel with me but is afraid he will be teased at work for using a girly showergel...

Is there going to be a tester discussion or questionnaire for this?

LackaDAISYcal · 25/08/2008 23:15

I'm also pregnant but think it smells lovely. I agree it's very reminiscent of something, but can't think what.

The skin on my upper arms is feeling much softer after three or four uses, so it's doing something right.

AnnMumsnet · 28/08/2008 19:37

eidsvold - I tried to email you but it bounced back. You were originally selected but I obviously had to check with the client as to whether you could be included in this or not and sadly they said no - mainly because the product is not being launched in Oz so it wouldn't be worthwhile including you. Thanks though.

To all the testers - a thread will be started soon and the link emailed through to you - probably within the next week or so. Thanks for all the comments so far

Ann
