  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I’m so glad someone else said it, but the smell of these capsules made me want to vomit. I tend to have smell sensitivity in pregnancy but something about these was absolutely revolting. I couldn’t stomach the thought of taking them as the smell made me heave. I was looking forward to trying them as normally just take Pregnacare or Tesco own-brand pregnancy vitamins but was very disappointed.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

N/A they actually made me feel sick 😂

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Not if they smell like these ones. I think £19 a month is a bit steep. It’s a shame because I was impressed with the eco credentials.

Shinysilverlamp · 30/04/2021 14:39
Like others have already said the smell was horrendous. I actually struggled to give them a real chance as my nausea was so triggered by even opening the packet. It was a real shame as I was desperate to give them a good try and test whether they did help reduce the sickness and nausea.
  1. My sickness and nausea has gradually reduced and is now pretty much gone, however I can’t put this down to the supplements as I couldn’t face taking them.
  1. I can’t say I would look to purchase these in future as I’m not certain I could get past the awful smell to actually take them on a regular basis.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I'm quite ambivalent about them to be honest- I found them easy to take, love the packaging and felt I was less tired with them as well. The smell and price are a definite off put though!
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I am breastfeeding, not pregnant, so there was no nausea to contend with. If I had sickness then I imagine the smell would make it worse and outweigh any benefit from the supplement! I am definitely less tired with them though, and that's despite the stress of moving house with a breastfeeding newborn as well!
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
I would consider using them when I go back to work if I am still breastfeeding by then, for an extra boost that I feel I dont get from my usual supplements (pregnacare). I wouldnt spend so much on a supplement if I wasnt pregnant or breastfeeding.

Thank you for the opportunity to try them!

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I had a nasty surprise when they came through the post because they said pregnancy on them, and there were people in the house I hadn’t told yet. I wouldn’t have ordered them if I’d know they’d broadcast that they were pregnancy vitamins on the outside of the box.

I love Feel vitamins normally. These, I couldn’t take in the end because of the smell. It makes me feel sick to even think about now. Conversely, I’m absolutely fine with normal Feel vitamins because they smell minty/like turmeric? And so I switched to taking the normal ones every couple of days as a stopgap.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

More nauseous because the smell of the tablets made me retch, even after the ‘morning sickness’ period. No noticeable effects with tiredness when I was taking them / stopped them because they were making me sick.

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Not the pregnancy ones because of the smell. I do like Feel vitamins though and would use the normal ones. I’d now be wary of others though because of the smell (sorry! I can’t state it enough!). Can’t you add the same minty turmeric stuff to the pregnancy one? Is it the bottom stated vitamin on the packet that makes them smell? If so, please axe it.

Tibtab · 30/04/2021 15:27

@lilyboleyn
I forgot about the post packaging! I was horrified when it arrived because my Mum comes over to look after my daughter and I hadn’t told her I was pregnant yet. I had to hide the box! Bit of a shock, was definitely expecting something more discreet.

Vickij59 · 30/04/2021 15:59
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

It's annoying that I have to remember to take 2 I'm really forgetful so struggled with this, also the smell isn't particularly that pleasant. Take the smell into your super sense of smell and your feeling ill quite quick!! Also occasionally burped with these then got to taste them!!!

I liked the eco packaging.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I felt really nauseous to start then I started taking these, I still feel sick but not quite qs bad!
I think my energy levels became slighty better that said I'm still ready for bed early especially when I'm feeling sick!

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

These supplements are quite expensive, I would consider buying them again but am hoping now I'm drawing to the end of my first trimester I will start feeling less sick.

MummyL1411 · 30/04/2021 17:14

My first issue with these vitamins was the smell, I’m a little more sensitive to smells during pregnancy and these were unbearable. Similarly I struggled with the size and taking 2 at a time. The packaging and overall vitamin content was well designed and appropriate for pregnancy and breastfeeding and can see how women could benefit. I wouldn’t swap from my normal brand as these are more expensive and personally found them unpalatable.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

Didn't make me feel any different or better and the RRP is quite extortionate for what you get
The free vitamins from midwife are the same.... and FREE

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

No changes I'm afraid, still feel awful!

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No, and no mostly due to price and marginally as I don't feel improved

changeisconstant · 30/04/2021 19:21
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

My initial thought was the smell! It was just so overwhelming and I'm not sure if I was pregnant if I'd be able to face opening the packet each day to take them. I liked the packaging & the instructions about tipping forward to take them certainly helped! They're out of my price range for a daily vitamin.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I am breastfeeding and felt that my energy levels were more sustained through the day than usual.

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

I won't continue to use them due to the cost, however if that wasn't an issue I'd definitely continue to take them. The smell of them is something else that puts me off but I'm sure I'd get used to this if I was to continue to use them.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I really liked the fact they are vegan, as well as the eco-friendly packaging. I am no longer pregnant but taking these postnatally (baby aged 4 weeks-8 weeks while taking) while breastfeeding-I noticed the calcium content is lower than the Pregnacare breastfeeding supplements which I took the first month postpartum-I would prefer it was higher as I do not eat dairy products and concerned I may not have enough calcium in my diet for when breastfeeding. I saw the iron content is quite high which is good as I have had issues with my iron levels in the past.
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I switched from Pregnacare breastfeeding to these at 4 weeks postpartum and didn’t really notice any difference in how I felt. I decided to take supplements postnatally as concerned I would feel depleted by breastfeeding, and think I will continue doing so until the baby is weaned.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
The price point is high I think without a discount code, however I was impressed by the vegan and eco credentials so may well try again.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy Supplements?

I loved the box, but was surprised to find the tablets all inside a bag. I do appreciate why and saving on plastic etc but as they weren't secure I felt I had to hide them away in case my toddler reached them, but then ended up forgetting to take them some days. Of course in hindsight I could get a safety proof plastic tub to put them in but really didn't like them being loose. They smell pretty gross especially when pregnant and sensitive to smells and I would always rather take 1 than 2 tablets. I loved the branding and the ethos.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
Imix had been taking pregnancare and truthfully couldn't say I felt any different.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding? Possibly. The price would put me off a little though.
SoloJazz · 30/04/2021 20:57
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
They're quite expensive. I liked eco friendly packaging and the fact that they contained probiotic.
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
Definitely less fatigue.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No, as they're quite expensive for me.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
They are easy to take and have a lot of different things all in one capsule and I love the packaging they come in but I have put them in a air tight container because of the smell they are very overpowering.
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I have felt more energetic and my appetite is better because I feel less nauseous I do feel healthier and more alert.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
I would carry on using the supplements for the first year after birth then see what I could use after that to keep my vitamin and mineral intake up.
Angelesque · 01/05/2021 08:46
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I liked the premium qualities of the product - clean/organic/reduced plastic aspects. I also liked the consideration that had been given to balancing not only the nutritional needs of the developing baby, but also how to make the mother feel better.

The smell of the product was a little off putting - I’d suggest in future iterations this could be addressed by adding a natural oil like peppermint.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I definitely felt much less nausea, and my stomach was much more settled as soon as I switched to Feel. I really appreciated the addition of prebiotic. However, I just don’t know if that was due to stage of pregnancy (think I was about 18 weeks when starting).

No noticeable impact on fatigue - but I took my supplements in the evening.

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding

I would consider using other Feel supplements - they are a little more expensive than Pregnacare, but I like the additional care that’s been given in developing the Feel offer. I also see from other comments on here that other users have said other Feel products smell much nicer than the pregnancy ones - this sounds much more appealing.

Mummyadventure · 01/05/2021 09:54

I wanted to like these because of the eco friendly packaging and the credentials of the company but I found with pregnancy nausea taking tablets is incredibly difficult and taking two even more so. There were days I just couldn't manage the second.

I didn't find that my nausea or fatigue improved but I am not convinced any tablets are going to help with that for now.

I might consider Feel later down the line for other products but not for pregnancy when two need to be taken.

  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

Lovely different packaging, however the smell was absolutely awful, whilst I started taking them they would often leave a nasty tang in my mouth and would repeat on me throughout the day. Because of this I couldn't keep them up.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? No different to usual.

Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements? No, as before I felt no additional benefits.

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding? No, the taste and smell was off putting alone, having to take them twice I often forgot or couldn't face taking the second.
idleweiss · 01/05/2021 21:26
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I liked the convenience of receiving specially tailored supplements through the post and that they were in eco friendly packaging.
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
After a couple of weeks I did feel like I had a bit more energy and felt a little less tired. I did not feel nauseous to start with so it did not apply.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
At the moment I cannot afford to continue using the Feel pregnancy supplements...also I found taking them made my urine go bright yellow..compared to supplements I have previously taken! I would like to try some of the other products Feel have to offer...they seem to have frequent offers(sent by email) so would give some ago once I am no longer breastfeeding.
KiloIndiaTango · 01/05/2021 22:06
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

Premium product with a premium price tag. As PP mention, the smell is awful and I’m not sure I’d have managed them 1st trimester.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

No real change

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Probably not
Ellie977 · 02/05/2021 05:49
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
They seem like premium quality products, the eco packaging is great! The tablets had a funny smell but not a huge deal to me. I like they they are capsules and not pressed tablets, it probably means that my body is able to absorb more of the vitamins.
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements? Its hard to say to be completely honest but I have noticed that I've built a healthier freezer stash of breast milk over the last month so they could've increased my milk supply.
  2. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
If I had a spare £19 a month I would 100% buy more, unfortunately it is a bit out of my price range. However, when we are no longer a 1 paycheck household I would definitely consider using feel supplements again!
lobster12 · 02/05/2021 10:34

1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I really liked these vitamins, I appreciated the packaging, vegan and that they contain probiotics. They do have a smell but I've taken premium vitamins before which had the same smell so it doesn't bother me. The capsules are thin and small so I found them easy to swallow. Easier than other tablets. I like how they are for pregnancy and also breastfeeding so you can continue them after pregnancy. I like how you get them sent to you every month so you don't have to remember to buy them.

2. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I noticed I felt less tired.

3. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

I will definitely have to a look at other products. I find them really expensive though £19 for a month supply. I would pay that price for a pregnancy vitamin but not for a general vitamin tablet so they would have to be discounted or cheaper.

milmentalhealth · 02/05/2021 12:37
  1. What were your overall thoughts on feel pregnancy supplements?

These were big tablets but they went down easily, the only problem was the smell! I am using them for breastfeeding and I honestly don't think I could have coped with the smell while pregnant.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt?

Yes, I definitely had way more energy than normal, I'm not sure if it was related to the supplements but my hair was a lot stronger too and didn't fall out as much as usual.

  1. Do you plan on continuing use/would you consider after breastfeeding?

It's a shame as I really enjoyed these supplements but the price far outweighs the benefits, I couldn't justify buying these. I don't think I would use them after breastfeeding either because I know I can get cheaper but with similar ingredients elsewhere.

Quailpoop · 02/05/2021 17:12
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I like that they have eco friendly packaging and fit through a letterbox however i miss the child safety seal you usually get on medicines and had to store them in a different place than normal. They were easy to take and i really liked that they included a probiotic, but i was disappointed there was no omega 3/6 etc for the price.

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
I did feel like i had less fatigue which was great.
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Due to the price and having to buy the omega separately on top I don't think I would continue.

Mariposa123 · 02/05/2021 20:01

I struggled to take these. They smell really horrible, I can only compare it to how my nose smelled once when I had a sinus infection. Luckily my nausea has stopped at this stage of my pregnancy, as it would have made that so much worse. I could not take these at all due to the smell.

BLee95 · 03/05/2021 09:15
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I liked how they were two smaller capsules rather than one large one, but they weren’t the easiest to take because of the smell. They are possibly the smelliest vitamins I’ve ever tasted!

  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?

I’d say I’ve had less fatigue- my iron levels have remained great and I’ve felt full of energy.

  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?

I don’t think I could- the smell is very off putting when I feel sensitive to smells. I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone in the first trimester that is sensitive.

CocoandCleo · 03/05/2021 09:44
  1. What were your overall thoughts on Feel Pregnancy supplements?
* Good supplements with good ingredients and not full of filler. Slightly more expensive than the usual pregnancy/breastfeeding supplements I buy but not by a huge amount. Like the eco friendly packaging. *
  1. Did you notice any changes to how you felt while taking the supplements? Have you felt less nauseous or less fatigue on most days since starting to take Feel Pregnancy supplements?
* I haven't noticed a difference to my usual pregnancy/breastfeeding vitamins but I think that shows they are of similar good quality. *
  1. Do you plan on continuing to use Feel Pregnancy supplements? Would you consider using other Feel products after your pregnancy or breastfeeding?
* I am not sure, I will finish my current (non Feel) vitamins and then decide, as I do like that the Feel vitamins have pre-biotics included. However my current vitamin brand do a lot of three for two offers and have a loyalty scheme so I will possibly stick with them.*
