We’re looking for Mumsnet users with an NHS repeat prescription to test Echo by Lloyd’s Pharmacy, and get their prescription delivered to their door.

Here’s what Echo has to say: “Every day Echo by LloydsPharmacy helps thousands of people get the medicine they need. We work with NHS England GPs to take care of repeat prescriptions. Using Echo by LloydsPharmacy will give you:
- Handy reminders for when to take and reorder
- Power family medicine management - you can easily manage your child, spouse or parent's medicine.
- Fast and free delivery”

To take part you (or someone you manage prescriptions for) will need to have a repeat prescription. You’ll need to order it online via the Echo app or website and get it delivered (with free delivery). Your normal prescription charges will apply (including if you’re exempt or have a prepayment certificate).

Following testing the service selected testers will need to give their feedback via a thread on Mumsnet and a short survey.

Selected testers who give feedback will each receive a £5 Amazon voucher as a thanks for their time.

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

I'd avoid any LLoyds Pharmacy organised delivery at all costs- terrible service, and indifferent poorly trained, even rude staff.

Our local pharmacy delivers for free - and has helpful staff if there's an issue

JamieLeeCurtains · 17/10/2020 20:02

Does anyone come on and reply to the queries, @MNHQ? That would be helpful. Thank you.

My local Lloyds pharmacy never get my prescription right, the staff are downright miserable and the shop is grim. Switched to Boots over a year ago and they are much better and the staff seem much happier . Lloyds, its a "NO" from me.

So what do you do when you want advise, or you need help urgently the GP is shut or you cant get an appointment oh I know you say I'll try the Pharmacist they helped me last time - oh shit the Pharmacy has closed down because people are not using them any more due to the 100s of these companies springing up - no thanks I will support my local Pharmacy

I had been collecting prescriptions for my retired neighbours who were shielding but I told them about the service and they signed up - they have been really pleased with the service.

It’s taking me a while to complete sign up as my GP require linking it to their own online service thing. I haven’t forgotten. Hope that’s ok MNHQ 😳

I’d love to use our local pharmacy but they won’t dispense ventolin and salbutamol runs out so quickly you need two a month so how is that saving money?.

MsSafina · 01/11/2020 11:11

I've signed up and getting my first delivery on Monday. It appears to work very well.

MsSafina · 03/11/2020 08:08

Just got my first delivery yesterday. The only downside is that the packaging is enormous for something that could fit easily into a jiffy bag.

Amber0685 · 03/11/2020 12:29

Unfortunately this has not worked well for my DH, after waiting 10 days for his medication he had an email yesterday that it was still out of stock (it is not a rare medication) and as he has none left they would return his prescription and to try another pharmacy. Not at all impressed.

You need to ask your GP surgery to prescribe it as Ventolin and then they will dispense it. It shouldn't be running out any quicker if it's the same number of doses. A lot of surgeries are switching patients to Salamol due to its lower carbon footprint

I've signed up and got my medication. Where do I leave feedback?
