This is the feedback thread for the 50 MNers who tried and tested Easy2Name personalised tags and labels.

Each tester received:
60 Stick on Labels
30 Stickeasy’s (stickers for clothes)
10 Shoe Label Covers
EasyTag no iron/ no sew system, which comes with a unique applicator and 25 laser engraved tags and backs

Yes definitely

My order arrived perfectly spelled and quickly. So far so good with staying on and being washed already and in tumble dryer. I love the pin system where you can reuse the pins and have gotten quite carried away! Also like the protective covers for the shoe labels, our previous ones never stayed on so this is a great idea. I'd recommend them but would like them to look more child friendly with nicer colours and maybe pictures or symbols on them. I would purchase again although the pack they sent was geberous. So won't need to for a while and that said I guess they are good value for money.

Yes, within a couple of days of hearing I'd been picked as a tester. Both names were spelt correctly.

Were you happy with how well the Stickers stayed on equipment and StickEasy’s stayed on clothing?
I particularly like the combination of the stick-on labels with the shoe label covers, as previously I've never found shoe stickers that stick properly and don't fade through stinkyfeetwear. So far the name on DS's shoes is still 100% clear and the stickers are stuck on beautifully. I am a little nervous of the Stickeasys peeling off clothing, but so far so good - I'm impressed.

How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application
TBH I find it a bit fiddly. I dropped one of the backs and had to scrabble around on the floor looking for it. DH found the system far easier to use than I did. It will come with practice though and I really like the system with the little black printed buttons.

Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?
Yes, without hesitation.

If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?
Yes, I think they're a very fair price.

Would you purchase from Easy2name again?
Yes, I'll certainly be buying easy tags for my other DS.

Yes but I wish there was a sticky label for clothes too

It was a bit fiddly to clip on the tags but they are durable

Maybe for school equipment but not for everything

Yes, everything was correctly spelt and it was a great range of different sizes and uses.

Yes. I was surprised how quickly they worked. They have survived washing, drying and sweaty feet. The shoe cover stickers are a genius idea.

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application

It looked like a big lump of plastic but was actually very easy to use and mildly addictive! A great product, actually. Much better for certain types of clothes and labels than the bigger stick on ones.

• Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?

Definitely and have done already.

• If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?

Actually yes. They are durable, easy to use, effective and time saving. I will only need new ones when the kids grow out of their stuff!

Very happy, I’ve used them in clothes, shoes, water bottles and lunch box. They have all stayed on well and haven’t moved.

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application

It was very easy to use, very quick and mess free. My daughter did say though sometimes it does hurt her if she sits on it while wearing her summer dress. So maybe it could be made with a softer plastic.

Highly recommend.

I found it surprisingly easy and it was strangely cathartic lol

My order arrived speedily and was correctly spelt.
Unfortunately one shoe sticker came off on my DS's sock. Another was wasted when the plastic covering sticker got puckered during application, meaning it would have been uncomfortable inside the shoe.
Easy2name Stickeasy's were more successful and stayed put.
Admittedly it is difficult for anything to stick well to the fabric uppers of trainers and most of them did stick well.
The Easy Tag system is great. Clear instructions meant they were simple to apply, not too much pressure was needed and things were tagged in a jiffy! I feel the tags would survive washing and last the lifetime of the item. I was a bit concerned that they could 'dig in' and be uncomfortable, but found them ideal for bags and pencil cases, brilliant!
Yes, I would recommend Easy2name to a friend. Even though the odd sticker fell off a shoe, the chances are that two would be lost together meaning that they would still be recovered even if one went missing.
I love the Easy Tag system and have not seen anything like it before, it' so quick to do.
Although the tags are expensive, so are kids clothes, shoes, etc. and thinking about it, it is worthwhile for the convenience of being able to find missing items easily, and the likelihood of having them returned.

So far they are great! Even the ones on shoes, the extra layer for shoe stickers is a great idea.

Little stiff to open and load, but easy to use.

Absolutely yes.

Absolutely, I requested our surname only, so have used the labels on all of the kids stuff.

Very easy. Instructions were clear and equipment was not at all fiddly. The tagging worked with minimal pressure and held fast. Very impressed with this idea, having not seen it anywhere before.

Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?
Yes, definitely.

If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?
Yes. The prices seem in line with the market.

Would you purchase from Easy2name again?
I am planning to do so in the very near future.

The stickeasy's for clothes fell off after one cycle through the washing machine on the whole which I kind of expected as they were stickers. The stickers that went on the lunch box items that go through the dishwasher I have been really impressed with, they stick to plastic really well and after a weeks worth of washing remain firmly in place. The stickers for the shoes I feel a bit mixed about, one lot has come out already but the other lot has stayed in place, they were really easy to put in and I liked that the put a clear one over the top to stop the name rubbing off.

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application

I loved the easy tag system, my six year old helped me to put them in and really found it so easy to use, very quick and great durability. This is the first product I have found that actually stays put and stands the test of time!

• Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?

I would recommend the easy tag system and the dishwasher safe stickers they have been brilliant, but I would not recommend the stick on labels that go in clothes.

• If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?

It is more than I would normally pay, however after seeing how durable and reliable the easytag system is I would pay again.

• Would you purchase from Easy2name again?

I would purchase the easy tag labels again, as they were fab!

Yes everything was perfect.

Was amazed how quick stickers sticked to clothes or shoes, already made washing and drying still there, no signs of peeling.

Very easy to apply, don't know how you do it but so far still in place, love them.

Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?
Yes, definetly, already have done.

If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?
Can't complain about them, just need to wait and check how long they gonna stay on clothes but if they will bedurable then it is worth its price.

Would you purchase from Easy2name again?
I will purchase again for my little one as soon as she will start nursery.

Yes they were here in a few days and spelt correctly

Yes they seem to have some good staying power so far.

It took me a couple of tries to understand exactly what I had to do and which was around the backing part went etc. But the clamp tool feels very well made and looks good quality. It’s really good.

• Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?

Absolutely

• If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?

Definitely. It is abit of an investment but as they’re such good quality they’re sure to last long and the easy tags are reusable and removable so can be moved to new clothing.

• Would you purchase from Easy2name again?

Definitely without a doubt. Really good value and quality.

Did your order arrive speedily and correctly spelt? Yes, very quickly and the spelling was correct.

Were you happy with how well the Stickers stayed on equipment and StickEasy’s stayed on clothing? So far so good! The now named lunchboxes have been in the dishwasher 9 times (only been back at school for 9 days) and they look as if they'll be there to stay. The tags and the stick on clothing labels have also stayed on well.

How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application Easy - but the tags kept getting all creased up.

Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend? Most definitely! I labelled a whole load of summer shirts and new PE kit in less than 15 minutes.

If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money? I think so. I bought cheaper ones back in September and I ended up having to sew on the iron on labels. That put me into a very bad mood.

Would you purchase from Easy2name again? Definitely. I'm thinking of getting labels with my other child's name on.

Very happy with the sticky labels - really clear and easy to spot. Waterbottles are washed constantly and no sign of peeling or fade. The clothes labels are really quick to use but I am unsure as to their longevity. Ideal for dd's camp stuff as the labels only have to stay on for duration of camp - but having washed some shirts with labels on - I fear that they would peel off at some point. However, the kits seem like good value - so would just have to be ready with another one!

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application - tried to do the first one with the tag back upside down (instruction picture confused me - with "this way up" but different to picture) - husband put me right and was great. Also, says tags can be re-used (just add new back) - it would have been good to see instructions for how to do this (in the pack).

• Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?

Yes so far they have stuck well, including shoes, and have gone through the washer several times with no problems.

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application. Once I worked out the instructions, which way to hold it up to insert the tags it was really easy. Although too scratchy for shirts etc they were great for my sons coats. I would like to see an option for thick material such as school bags.

Yes. We used the stickers on my DD's lunchbox and this has gone through the dishwasher many times and still looks new. The stickers were easy to attach to clothing and again, have gone though the washing process unscathed.

How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application
I found attaching the backing initially tricky but once it was in the machine I was OK! The tag system is easy to use and addictive! I like the ease of tagging the clothes, far quicker than sewing!

Would you recommend Easy2name to a friend?
Yes and I have already done so!

If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?
Absolutely! Having a clearly labelled uniform will hopefully prevent losses and the cost of replacing items. Being able to reuse the tags is great; no more unpicking handsewn labels!

Would you purchase from Easy2name again?
Yes,definitely. I will need replacement backs for the next size up of clothing!

Order arrived quickly with everything spelt correctly. I have not used stickeasy but the stickers have survived many many washes in the dishwasher! I have not yet used the easy tag but it's going to be on my next order. I have already recommended to a friend. The cost is good value. I have been ordering from you for years - good value and always reliable!

Yes, very quickly and all three unusual names spelt correctly. Nice and bold too which makes it easier for my son who is severely short sighted to see what is his!

Yes, I've used the stickers on gardening tools, lunchboxes, drink bottles, etc as well as clothes and gardening gloves, they are very durable and all stayed put!

I absolutely loved the EasyTag system and will be purchasing some more to label my children's Explorer Scouts uniform and camp gear....I love the way the tags are easily identifiable, they are so simple to use that I had tagged a heap of stuff in minutes. Jumpers, coats, bags, everything is easy to tag. There was a very generous quantity supplied too.

Absolutely, they are far superior to the labels from eBay, etc.
- If you had paid full price would you think the packs are good value for money?
Definitely! Very generous, I still have quite a few left which is handy for labelling new items as the kids need new stuff.

Yes, I will be ordering two more sets of the EasyTags straight away, and more stickers when I need them.

Easy to use and a great idea for items such as coats and sweatshirts. I tried one on the dress care label as suggested and my daughter found it uncomfortable so we resorted back to the stickers.

Reasonable. I would have liked to see extra backs included with the EasyTag kit though. I probably won't end up reusing these which seems wasteful.

Yes assume it was quick. I wasn't expecting them so it was a nice surprise

I have used them on clothes, shoes and water bottles/lunchboxes. All have stayed stuck so far and are showing no sign of shifting. I used the shoe ones on brand new shoes and used the cover sticking. Don't know if they'd stick as well if the shoes had been a bit old and wrinkly at the start :)

• How did you find the EasyTag system? i.e. durability and ease of application

Very easy to use. I really liked this! Was quite excited by them (is this a sign of how sad my life has begun) I've put them on the kids coats as they would be quite expensive so I used them on quite expensive things. If they were a big bigger could they be used to label bags etc?

Definitely. In fact I'm part of a PTA so I'm looking into their fundraising options

Yes I would be happy to pay the market value for them. The tags were quite a lot but I'donly use them on the more expensive items so they'd last. Plus you can reuse them if you buy the cheaper extra backs
