Little bump so I don't lose the thread...

Also, the setting is not at all comparable between us- I find the position I am in makes a huge difference. Also, I am, shall we say 'well padded' so may need a bigger jolt to get through to my muscles!

christmasrage · 21/12/2017 08:11

How many hours and sessions has everyone else done? Am I lagging a long way behind?

HuckfromScandal · 21/12/2017 11:42

Here are my stats
current intensity 86
average intensity since starting 61
number of sessions - 35
time used 16:30 mins

hope that helps
I was out running this morning and singing its praises to a running buddy.
I do think it's making a difference!!

christmasrage · 21/12/2017 11:58

Oops. I am behind! Well done you.

I sneezed today, and found that there is still more work to be done... Blush

cc120 · 03/01/2018 10:57

I have the Innovo but the intensity of P2 won't go up above 70, though the instructions state it goes up to 120 the same as P1, any advice would be appreciated?

cc120 · 06/01/2018 06:52

Would anyone with a medium size Innovo wish to sell to me? Payment would be sent first.

picklemepopcorn · 06/01/2018 09:59

Mine doesn't go above 70 on P2, either. I don't use P2 any more, just P1.

cc120 · 07/01/2018 17:14

Thank you picklemepopcorn. Yes, I did check with the company and was told P2 only goes up to 70 as that is all that is needed. I would have liked it to go up higher myself.

picklemepopcorn · 07/01/2018 17:46

Same here. It's actually more irritating than anything. I'll go back t9 that setting if I need to, after I've done loads of P1!

cc120 · 07/01/2018 18:02

I suppose it's possible that P2 is doing more than it feels like it's doing :-)

WaitingforSpring18 · 22/01/2018 15:24

Would this be any good for a prolapse? No incontinence issues but just a constant feeling of needing the loo!

MrsSchadenfreude · 23/01/2018 00:10

No idea re prolapse, sorry!

I’ve been a bit behind - away for a few days and then suffering from lurgy. Now back in the saddle and up to 90 on P1. Haven’t bothered with P2.

I had a warning triangle the other day, and one of the pads had come slightly unstuck. I am a bit awkward and often find it difficult to get the left one in place.

AuntyElle · 23/01/2018 00:23

WaitingforSpring18, there’s a webchat about prolapse today (Tues):

Christmasrage · 02/02/2018 16:33

Hopefully all the name changes will still be clear as mud to MNHQ!

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
I’m 48, 2 pregnancies, big babies. Well educated, not very active, overweight... erm...

  1. What symptoms were you experiencing before you discovered Innovotherapy, and how did they impact your everyday life.? Doorkey desperation mainly! I have uegency problems, so waiting in a line for the loo is a nightmare, also when we come back from an outing I have to be first into the loo! I wear washable pads daily, which I find comfortable. I only need a tiny bit of protection. It’s only a problem very occasionally.
  2. What did you find was the hardest symptom to deal with? The discomfort of urgency, feeling insecure about needing the toilet while out and about.
  3. Was there a specific trigger for your symptoms? I.e. post pregnancy or Prostatectomy mainly post pregnancy, though I realised that caffeine hadn’t doing me any favours and I should have given it up years ago. I think if I had, I wouldn’t have the current problems. I think it’s partly a habit.
  4. How has Innovotherapy helped you / impacted your life? I think it’s relieved my symptoms slightly, but it’s hard to know as Mine are quite sporadic and I very much have lived my life with it in mind.
  5. How did you find the experience of using Innovotherapy? Fine. I did find it hard to get into a routine, and found wearing the chaps embarrassing- if the doorbell went for a delivery for example, I’d need to put a robe on.
  6. How did you introduce Innovotherapy to your daily routine? As a first thing in the morning thing, while I have a cup of coffee and read the news/Facebook/iPad.
  7. When did you start seeing results? After about six weeks I realised I’d had fewer problems than usual.
  8. What has been the most beneficial change? I generally have a little more time when I dash to the loo!
10. Would you recommend Innovotherapy to a friend yes, as long as they are more disciplined than me!
TestingOneTwoWee · 02/02/2018 19:41

Came on here to feedback but can honestly just refer you to ChristmasRage's post.

She describes my issues and experience with Innovo perfectly.

I'm motivated to try to be a bit more disciplined about using it, as I think it is helping, but it is hard to fit it into the day.

MrsSchadenfreude · 03/02/2018 10:28
  1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

50, fat, two large babies, who are now 19 and 17. Have a very full on job and social life.

  1. What symptoms were you experiencing before you discovered Innovotherapy, and how did they impact your everyday life.?

Wore pantie liners all the time - coughing and sneezing were a nightmare, usually resulting in leakage. Had bronchitis a year or so ago and it was full on pissing myself, not just a wee (haha) sprinkle.

  1. What did you find was the hardest symptom to deal with?

Wearing pantie liners all the time often resulted in thrush, to add to my woes. Got very tired of having to buy and wear pantie liners. It was the sheer unpredictability of it, suddenly sneezing and, oh no! I am one of those people who is allergic to a lot of things, so going to someone's house, a scented candle could set me off on a sneezing fit. It was all very wearing, frankly.

  1. Was there a specific trigger for your symptoms? I.e. post pregnancy or Prostatectomy

No, but it got worse after my bout of bronchitis.

  1. How has Innovotherapy helped you / impacted your life?

I have ditched the pantie liners and now have no issues with sneezing or coughing. I've had the cold/flu lurgy that has been doing the rounds and have managed to cope fine without pantie liners - not a drop has escaped, and sneezing no longer fills me with dread.

  1. How did you find the experience of using Innovotherapy?

It was fine once it was on. As I said upthread, I am awkward and sometimes found it difficult to get the left leg one positioned correctly. One one occasion, I managed to get a wrinkle in the gel pad and got the error message, but this was quite easily resolved. I quite liked having nothing to do for half an hour, apart from lie on the bed with my book. The whole sensation of Innovo was fine - a little ticklish to start with, but as I ramped up the pulses, this went, and I became used to it very quickly. I think by ramping up the pulse rate quickly, I got maximum advantage and quick results.

  1. How did you introduce Innovotherapy to your daily routine?

I did it in the evening, usually when I came home from work and before cooking dinner, or if we went out or I was late home, I'd do it before bedtime.

  1. When did you start seeing results?

Very quickly - within a few weeks. By week four, I had ditched the pantie liners. I did put them back for reassurance when I had my cold/cough, but they weren't needed.

  1. What has been the most beneficial change?

Getting back control of my pelvic floor, not peeing myself inadvertently and ditching the pantie liners. Is that too many? I've also seen a real improvement in my bum and thigh muscles. Both are absolutely rock hard now. Oh and, as I said upthread, better, longer and more intense orgasms.

  1. Would you recommend Innovotherapy to a friend

Yes, without a doubt. I like the fact that it does the work for you,

christmasrage · 03/02/2018 10:51

That's really impressive, Schadenfreude.

cc120 · 05/02/2018 03:19

Any updates from anyone regarding improvement/or not from there Innovo?

MissDemelzaCarne · 14/02/2018 19:52

I had a break in using the product as I found a fault with the leads in the week before Christmas so naturally it took a while to sort out but once I'd got through to the right person I got a new set of leads quickly.

I also stopped using it for a bit as I was reluctant to do so as it was sore, buying a new set of pads (£30) fixed that.

I do think it has helped though I am by no means 'cured'. To be fais though I have not had my full 12 weeks of use yet and do intend to carry on.

Would i recommend it ? Yes, if you can afford it, though there is a 6 monthly payment option.

HuckfromScandal · 15/02/2018 12:42
  1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
44 - Two kids - two vaginal births 16 and 20 years ago Keen runner Very active
  1. What symptoms were you experiencing before you discovered Innovotherapy, and how did they impact your everyday life.?

Only with running, could be awful - could be fine, no ryhme nor reason to it. Not keen on the urine loss whilst running, really tried to be concientious about pelvic floor exercises, but no real difference made.

  1. What did you find was the hardest symptom to deal with?
As above
  1. Was there a specific trigger for your symptoms? I.e. post pregnancy or Prostatectomy

I cant tell you when it started, I only started running when the kids were older. I probably noticed when I had a cold I could sometimes wee when I had a coughing fit.
(Oh and trampolines were no longer fun)

  1. How has Innovotherapy helped you / impacted your life?
Hugely - problem is so so much better.
  1. How did you find the experience of using Innovotherapy?
It was a bit of a nuisanse. Finding 30 mins in the day was harder than I would have thought.
  1. How did you introduce Innovotherapy to your daily routine?
Early morning - I did it as soon as I got up, normally i went back to bed with a coffee.
  1. When did you start seeing results?

About 8 weeks in

  1. What has been the most beneficial change?

I no longer worry about incontinence as much as possible

  1. Would you recommend Innovotherapy to a friend yes! I have sung its praises to many of my running buddies.
Solo · 16/02/2018 01:34

Would this be okay for 'just' weak pelvic muscles do you think? I don't have continence issues (yet) but, my GP says my floor is weak and to buy a pelvic educator. Any thoughts on this product for this please?

MrsSchadenfreude · 16/02/2018 06:33

Solo - absolutely. It will help strengthen your pelvic floor, and as it gets stronger, you will be able to do your pelvic floor exercises on your own. (I can clench mine on their own now, without clenching my bum muscles and making my eyebrows move simultaneously!)

Solo · 16/02/2018 10:40

MrsSchadenfreude thank you. I will look into this product then :) [thank you]

Solo · 16/02/2018 10:42

And yes, your description of the pelvic floor attempts at clenching is spot on and made me chuckle!
