INNOVO® has asked us to find 5 Mumsnetters who suffer from stress or urge incontinence to test and keep the INNOVO® pelvic restoration system.

Here’s what Innovo has to say: “INNOVO® is a revolutionary system that uses proven technology to target the root cause of bladder weakness, not just the symptoms. Suitable for women suffering from little leaks to total loss of control, it is clinically proven to work. INNOVO® has the expertise, experience and technology to understand and help women suffering with bladder weakness and restore their confidence. They do not have to live with it.

INNOVO® is the only solution to treat all pelvic floor weakness problems, it is non-invasive, clinically proven and targets the cause not just the symptoms, so that women don’t need to live a life searching for toilets or constantly carrying pads.”

Feel free to find out more about the product here.

The product is worth £249.99 and selected testers will be able to keep the product following the test.

If selected, you’ll need to test the product for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week over a 12 week period, and then post your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet. Please only apply to take part if you’re happy with this.

All testers who complete the feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

If you’d like to take part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

Oh, yes please, anything which may help! On 3rd type of medication with no real improvements

Done 😘

This looks great, I've a probe one atm 😐

RafikiIsTheBest · 14/10/2017 20:42

I've signed up too, hoping I get picked as no way can I afford to buy it at the moment.
I've not even got kids to blame it on, hope having them doesn't make it worse! So embarrassing. To make it worse I can't wear 'typical' pads (allergic) and it seems to run straight through my washable ones for my period. Any washable liners that are thin (so I can wear with leggings/skinny jeans) very much appreciated.

RafikiIsTheBest · 14/10/2017 20:42

Oh, that should be recommendations for washable liners.... I don't want your washable liners! Sorry

I would LOVE to test this! So fed up with not being able to do pretty much any of the activities I did before childbirth without fear of total embarrassment! As pp have said, it's sad that women are just expected to accept this as a normal way of life!

done,
this sounds incredible ! i have seen other machines but i don't like the invasive element to them this looks incredible xx

I’ve not signed up for this because I don’t need it thanks to NHS physio when DD was 4 months old.

Ask your GP to refer you for physio first.

I had no idea all the pelvic floor exercises I was doing weren’t effective and discovered I have a prolapse. Yes it’s all a bit cringe-worthy but you very quickly get over it!

nellyboo2 · 16/10/2017 18:00

Need this! Willing to try anything to make my bladder behave itself!

How bad does it get before you should be going to the gp for this? Do they do anything while you’re pregnant?

Raahh · 17/10/2017 11:16

They probably won’t send you during pregnancy as who knows what will happen down there in the near futureWinkbut any unwelcome wee is enough, including just when you sneeze or cough.** What have you got to lose by asking?

Please don't accept loss of bladder control as a normal thing you have to put up with as a consequence of childbirth.
I suffered for 10 years.
Too embarrassed to go to the doctor.
Finally plucked up the courage a couple of years ago.
I Got an immediate Referral to hospital, GP keen to help, a few weeks later I was having a TVT op which has CHANGED MY LIFE. Sorry for shouting but I can now run, skip, trampoline, sneeze, ride my horse etc etc without ever peeing myself.
My god why did I not go sooner?Everyone I saw was sympathetic and understood totally how bloody awful peeing yourself when you sneeze/cough/run etc was.
Please, please go and don't leave it 10 or more years like I did.
