Soreen are looking for 100 Mumsnetters and their DCs to taste and give feedback on their Malt and Banana Lunchbox Loaves. If you are a UK Mumsnetter, have a DC aged 2-11 and would like to try out Soreen’s Malt and Banana flavoured Lunchbox Loaves, click here to take part in this product test.

Here’s what Soreen has to say: “We know how hard it is to find a snack for school lunchboxes that’s both nutritious and tasty but Soreen Lunchbox Loaves strike that perfect balance. Available in Malt and Banana flavour with a satisfyingly squidgy texture, Lunchbox Loaves are individually wrapped, low in fat, contain only 95 calories and provide a source of fibre.”

“If this doesn’t already sound too good to be true, Lunchbox Loaves are suitable for vegetarians and meet the guidelines set by the Children’s Food Trust for ‘School Foods Standards’.”

Testers will be sent packs of both Banana and Malt Lunchbox Loaves for them and their DCs to try. You will then be asked to answer a few questions on a feedback thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who shares their thoughts on the Soreen Lunchbox Loaves on the feedback thread will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Please sign up here if you’d like to take part.

Thanks and good luck!

Fingers crossed - many happy memories of Soreen Malt Loaf as a child, would love to pass that on to my own children.

SunshineOutdoors · 07/01/2017 19:12

Done. I think dd(5) would be really excited to get this as she is a malt loaf addict.

Cheguevarahamster · 07/01/2017 20:25

Oh yes please!!

AlertTheWorldThroughPoetry · 07/01/2017 22:24

Done. DS ate a third of a loaf for pudding today. He's 2, had a tantrum when DH tried to cut it up so we gave him it. I did not think he would eat it all! He proved me wrong

LilQueenie · 08/01/2017 21:17

Applied. I have great memories of eating Soreen when living with my grandparents.

ipblythe · 10/01/2017 10:18

These are perfect with a dab of butter on them

SmileyShazza · 10/01/2017 10:56

My two love the large Soreen loaves so we would really like to give these a try especially now that DD has to take a packed lunch to preschool everyday.

ipswichwitch · 10/01/2017 12:13

Done. I'm sure the DC would be more than happy to be product testers!

olbndansmummy · 10/01/2017 19:16

Pancakechica · 10/01/2017 21:11

Sounds yum. I love the original loaf. My DC like my banana cake so I'm sure they will love these.

Melty · 11/01/2017 10:49

Well, I love to eat, and am good at baking banana bread.
Bought a banana loaf yesteday.
Opened pack.
Smelt lovely, but was sunken in the middle. (- sign of underbaking.)
Anyway, yes, was just a slice of banana malt dough. I like moist but this was chewy, doughy and not pleasant.
I might have been unlucky but won't buy again. perhaps the smaller ones would be better.

OverScentedFanjo · 11/01/2017 16:17

Yum, malt loaf with butter on it is was the perfect after school snack when I was a child of the 80's.

AnneOfCleavage · 11/01/2017 20:37

I love these but my children don't at all.

alibubbles · 13/01/2017 23:19

My children who eat anything, and I mean anything, rejected these and I have to admit they are bleugh!

Meffy · 14/01/2017 02:43

These sound great !!!! Better than faffing and wrapping soreen in cling film. Mine are 9, 7 & 5!

FaerieDusting · 14/01/2017 12:24

I have tried these after seeing them in Asda. The kids weren't interested, but I love them. They make a yummy little snack.
