Little Dish, the makers of healthy toddler meals, have asked us to find 250 Mumsnetters with a child aged 1-3 to try their new snack range specially designed for little ones – Little Dish Go Gos - and to share their feedback on MN.

Here's what they say, "Little Dish Go Gos are yummy mini oat biscuits that have been created in partnership with leading nutritionist Lucy Jones. Suitable from age one upwards, Go Gos are full of naturally good things like wholegrain oats, flax and chia seeds and protein which all help to deliver slow release energy and nourishment to your little one. We call this ‘Good Energy’. Each little bag of GoGos provides three grams of protein, and is a good source of fibre."

GoGos are available in three recipes; vanilla, raspberry and ginger and selected testers will be sent one multipack of each recipe (5 bags of each recipe).

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters who have at least one child age 1-3.

Testers will be required to add feedback about the snacks on a thread on Mumsnet (we’d love a photo too showing your child enjoying them but this is not a requirement) as well as complete a short survey. Mumsnetters who complete both forms of feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £300 John Lewis voucher!

If you would like to take part in this product test, please sign up here.

thanks and good luck!

Ooh a very large box arrived this morning, which is currently attracting much more attention than the snacks found therein.

ColdCottage · 15/01/2016 12:30

Just signed for my box. Thank you! Looking forward to trying them with DS. Hope he likes them as have been looking for alternative snacks.
I haven't had an email confirming they were coming so don't know where the feed back etc needs to go once DS starts noshing them after his nap as there was nothing in the box either.
Only comment so far though is what a huge box for the contents, although I agree my DS will enjoy playing in it later it did seem a waste of cardboard and extra postage costs when the box could have been 75% smaller. (Yes I know I'm sad thinking about a box)

PeaceLoveAndMincePies · 15/01/2016 13:31

I agree Coldcottage though am consoling myself with the thought that it is a toy in itself.

lyndseyh78 · 15/01/2016 13:42

Our box arrived! Thank you!
My DD was very excited to open the box and find the snacks!!
She is now happily sitting inside the box eating a packet of ginger Go Go's Grin

Mine haven't arrived yet :(

ColdCottage · 15/01/2016 14:07

The vanilla ones have been the first ones to be tries, went down a storm, had to stop his dad stealing them after he tried a bite too!

SansaClegane · 15/01/2016 16:16

Ours came today in a huge box that was inside another huge box Confused so yeah, bit of packaging overkill!

Tried the vanilla ones straight away, they went down very well with my 2 year old and my 4yo, and my 6yo.
Waiting for the official testing thread now as not sure what I'm meant to observe!

A couple of folks had asked about sugar content and this is what the team at Little Dish have asked us to pass on

"We developed the Go Gos recipes in partnership with nutritionist Lucy Jones MRES BSC Hons RD MBDA (who advised Jamie Oliver in his recent documentary ‘Sugar Rush’). Keeping the amount of added sugar as low as possible while still being tasty for little ones, was a priority for us. Go Gos are in fact only 16% sugar, which means that a 25g bag of Go Gos contains just 1teaspoon (4g) of added sugar in the form of molasses. This amount is lower than that in most baby biscuits currently available, and significantly lower than dried fruit snacks. We have included flax and chia seeds as they are packed with protein, fibre and healthy fats – all important nutrients for little ones’ growth and development".

Yum!!!!! We're digging into a bag of raspberry go-gos at the moment. They are completely yummy and both of my (very fussy) girls really seem to love them! Thanks v much! What a treat for a cold Friday evening. :-)

flanjabelle · 15/01/2016 21:52

They arrived... Dd isn't too impressed, but I am! They are yummy and so well thought out. Looking forward to reviewing them properly. I'll keep offering them to dd and see what she thinks.

Bicnod · 16/01/2016 11:30

Ours have arrived - slightly excess packaging (!) but so far very impressed. The ginger ones went down well with all the kids (1, 4 and 6) and with me Grin have yet to try the others...

Toadsrevisited · 16/01/2016 13:09

Hello there! Was surprised to find a box of goodies on the doorstep today ad I hadn't had an email. Very pleased though.

How do I get a link to the feedback survey if I didn't have an email though? Thanks.

splendide · 16/01/2016 14:09

Packaging is ridiculous! But like others, mine has quite enjoyed sitting in the box.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 16/01/2016 15:49

Ours arrived my 13mth old loves the raspberry ones and my 5yr old said they are tasty. Love that they are dairy free, the stickers are cute to reseal the pack great for little ones or once older a nice sticker treat. Also like the voucher in each box biscuits for a free little dish meal or first mini pizza will give those a try over next few mths.

AnotherTimeMaybe · 16/01/2016 21:49

They arrived today, 15mo started with the vanilla ones! He had a pack within 10mins and best of all he had a huge poo 1 hour later!! He's generally quite constipated so I wonder if it was the chia seeds in it! Amazing product so far!!

Uneasypeasy · 17/01/2016 16:45

The raspberry ones are incredibly popular with DD (3 next week!) - "yummy" was the only word I could get out of her while she demolished the pack. I managed to get a small bite (sharing apparently!) and think they have something of a horlicks taste about them (that's a good thing for me!)

flanjabelle · 17/01/2016 19:09

Dd is still not impressed with the snacks, but the packaging they came in has been very helpful! She made this delightful doggy craft (yes that is a dog) this evening. I have tried her on each flavour, but she just isn't really interested. I did say she was a bit fussy when applying! I still think they are fab, and dd loves the stickers!

DD seems to like them too, and I'm impressed with that as they are quite hard textured and she only has two teeth. And they aren't super sweet. Best thing is the voucher for a free little dish ready meal in each pack! Thanks and look forward to the link to the review thread.
