Mine arrived today. Used the antibac to clean the tiles behind the hob and it did a lovely job. Bit wishy washy on the fragrance did the job nicely and would buy it myself.

Two loads of washing done, one very muddy rugby gear from DS. It absolutely did the trick for his stuff and I love the smell of it too. am particularly fussy about that

Second load was a mish mash of stuff that I threw in at 30 on the Eco programme. Was half expecting a mediocre result, but this one was just as good. House smells lovely too(crap weather, stuff on radiators and airer).

Have a linen and towel wash to do in the morning, so will add to this when done.

LOVED the washing up liquid sachet that came too - smells delicious and left my glasses and cutlery gleaming. Excellent suds, only a small amount needed. I will definitely be buying this.

My only negative is that the packaging is, imo, terribly dull. Not that I am expecting massively exciting things, but it's not one that would jump out at me in a display.

I got my antibac spray today too, with a little sachet of washing up liquid < Angry at now having to do washing up> Grin

I'll be back tomorrow with first impressions!

AllthatshewantsisanotherBBaby · 29/04/2012 09:58

Frontpaw · 29/04/2012 10:02

I got some spray and sachet of waahing up liquid. I assume its this (I didn't get an email). The washing up liquid smells quite nice!

TodaysAGoodDay · 29/04/2012 10:08

Got home yesterday afternoon and found a 'missed delivery' parcel note. Couldn't think for the life of me what it was and then I saw this thread. Will have to collect it on Monday.

bearcub1 · 29/04/2012 10:28

Just done first load and opened the power draw to see it all stuck in the draw. Have put the machine on again on a quick wash after swilling down the powder. So the washing would have been on 1 1/2 times, not quite Eco friendly so far... Have not looked at the quality of the cleaning.Bear

Well I've just opened the washing powder to try and am shocked that an eco friendly product is double packed. When I nprmally buy a box of soap powder its not in a cardboard box with a plastic bag inside with the powder in. Ill report back when the washing finished as to how well its done. The washing up liquid trial will have to wait as we are going out for sunday lunch so don't intend to do any washing up today Grin

Grockle · 29/04/2012 11:57

I got mine yesterday - is there a thread with questions we need to answer?

Not sure about the smell - I sort of liked it but it's very strong and chemically. I wouldn't use it to clean surfaces before kneading dough or rolling out pastry because I'd worry that the smell would flavour the food.

Seems to clean ok but I prefer Method.

I accidentally threw out the washing liquid but given what's been said on here, I'm not sure I'd want to use it anyway. I think this range might be a bit gimicky - I'm not convinced it's at all 'natural'

ttalloo · 29/04/2012 12:04

Got my washing powder yesterday and am now waiting for my first load to finish. I can't say that the smell of it struck me, but I am bunged with hay fever which probably explains it. DH will tell me when he gets home if it's offensive or not...!

I know that the double bagging of the powder isn't very environmentally friendly, but I actually like it - it keeps everything much tidier. I also like the fact that the box opens at the top, so that you can scoop in, rather than the side-opening that boxes of washing powder tend to have, which means that you have to shake powder out.

elah11 · 29/04/2012 12:06

Still waiting on mine!

alibubbles · 29/04/2012 12:18

I found all the powder undissolved in the drawer too, maybe that's why the washing didn't come clean.

I have another load on at the moment, let's see what happens this time!

My son would be most impressed at washing at 15C with an Eco friendly powder, as that us what he does in Canada, but he does wonder why his T Shirts are cleaner when washed by me at home!

Solo · 29/04/2012 12:33

Sooo..put my first load in last night ~ completely forgetting about the tester powder, then did the very same thing this morning Blush. I'd love to be able to say 'I'll have to wait until next weekend to test it' but instead, I'll say 'I will try it out on Tuesday'.

SilentSinger · 29/04/2012 12:35

I've just got home after being away to find a card from the postman. Looks like I can't do the cleaning today what a shame Smile

Jins · 29/04/2012 13:27

Not terribly impressed with performance at 30 degrees for a white wash. Sad

carrotsandcelery · 29/04/2012 13:36

I used my normal powder this morning and there was still some of the undissolved powder in the drawer before and after a wash with my usual powder. All of my usual powder washed away.

AKMD · 29/04/2012 14:25

I got my antibac spray yesterday. Haven't tried the washing up liquid yet but the spray cleans as well as my Dettol. The bottle is awful though:

-when I tried to turn the nozzle to the 'spray' position it was so stiff I had to use a tea towel to help me grip it;

  • when I tilted the bottle the cleaning solution leaked out of the nozzle. I tried my Dettol and other Tesco own-brand sprays to see if they did the same thing but even shaken violently upside-down they don't leak.

I was also Confused at the palm oil. I thought the industrial cultivation of that crop was one of the greatest environmental disasters on the planet!

Overall, it cleans but I'm not impressed with the bottle or the eco credentials.

aristocat · 29/04/2012 15:12

I am another who has got unused powder still in the drawer - my washing is clean though.

FuntimeFelicity · 29/04/2012 19:50

Same here, powder undissolved in the drawer. One long (2+ hours) didn't shift it, not did another quick (55 mins) wash straight afterwards. Had to do a full 90 degree long cycle to get the blasted stuff to shift. Not very eco-friendly. NOT IMPRESSED Angry.

Liskey · 29/04/2012 21:15

Washing powder got delivered Saturday just after I'd done my whites - luckily Hmm DD has been sick in her bed tonight so I've just had to do another load of washing. Smelt nice and dissolved completely - and I'm very pleased to report that it completely removes any smell of sick. Now here's hoping DD doesn't do this again as I thought she was getting over this cold.

FrankWippery · 29/04/2012 21:17

Absolutely no powder residue in my drawer. Have done a 30 Eco, a 40 and a 60 was

FrankWippery · 29/04/2012 21:17

Pressed too soon.

Washes and it's been clear after each one.
