We have another product test for you - this time for younger children. We've been asked by Worlds Apart, the manufacturers of "Winnie The Pooh Interactive Friend" to find 20 MNers to try their toy and to add feedback on Mumsnet.

We are looking for mums (or grandparents) in the UK. The toy is aimed at children aged between 12 months and up to 4 years old. This interactive toy is "designed to let your LO maintain and establish routines with their friend Pooh, this new interactive Pooh assists toddlers with routines in a fun and imaginative way". You can set Winnie to be a "day-long companion for your child - he can be set to follow the child's individual routines with morning, meal-time, play and bedtime modes"

You can see the toy in action

If you are selected to take part you will be sent the toy and asked to try it with your child. We'll then email you a link to a feedback thread on Mumsnet where you can add your comments. Everyone who takes part and adds their feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

Feedback will be required w/c 14 November.

If you?d like to take part please sign up here

Thanks

Hope you feel better soon AnnMumsnet

Pooh bear has arrived!! Dd is already in love with it. Any one notice the typo in the set up leaflet? Grin Grin Grin

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 01/11/2011 14:12

Nessa - was he 'signed for' or in the regular post? I have to pop out later and know some of our delivery guys will pop it in the she whilst others will take it back.

grinningbee · 01/11/2011 16:08

Pooh has arrived here too and dd is smitten. He's only been here a few minutes, but she's already fed him with the pot and spoon.

Dh want one too Grin

Going to do the set up later or tomorrow when I can prise him away...

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 01/11/2011 16:16

OOh He's here! DDs are taking turns to feed him. DD already knows some of his phrases from watching the DVD that arrived this morning. Poor Pooh is now being taken for a walk, with 6 other toys in a wagon.

The only bit I find odd is that you have to set him up on the hour or half hour. DD1 wants to play hide and seek but can't until he has been set - in 12 minutes!

ChutesTooNarrow · 01/11/2011 16:20

Oooh Nessa I was sat on my hands to stop myself mentioning the typo, glad someone else did.

We have ours, thank you. DS was frantic with excitement whilst I opened the packaging but it was the honeypot and spoon he wanted and he has trailed them round the house all day with him. He is quite keen on 'bear' though, who has now been set up and is now lying on the floor.

St1ggy · 01/11/2011 16:34

Did any of you just get a DVD in an envelope with the video clip from start of this thread? Was expecting a Pooh Bear and was surprised only a disk arrived.

AnnMumsnet · 01/11/2011 16:41

St1ggy - don't worry he is on his way!

Ann any chance you could try and wangle a discount for those of us who missed out?

NessaRose · 01/11/2011 17:03

Chutes Grin

St1ggy · 01/11/2011 17:58

Thanks Ann, he arrived as I was cooking tea! Grin

DD2 was too impatient for the full set up so I gave up and he's currently being held by DD2 whilst DD1 feeds him honey! Will give set up another go after bedtime.

St1ggy · 01/11/2011 18:04

He's currently doing a puppet show for DS courtesty of DD1/2. It'll kill the hour until bed time quickly.

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 01/11/2011 18:14

There is currently a family game of hide and seek going on in our house - DH is hiding Pooh nad the girls have to see who finds him first. Surprisingly DD2 (17mo) is better at this than DD1 (3yo) because DD1 wonders about in her own world.

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 01/11/2011 18:14

or wanders even Blush

AnnMumsnet · 01/11/2011 18:48

I will certainly ask....!

Pooh arrived safe and well here too - hunny for tea in this house.
DD is in love - took him up to bed - I had to whip up once she'd gone off and prise him away to set up his routine. Done now, very easy!

NewbeeMummy · 02/11/2011 11:09

DD loves Pooh - she was a bit weary of him at first, but now loves him.

Although DD was a bit poorly last night so fell asleep early and Pooh scared the hell out of me when he suddenly started talking.

Thanks you so much mumsnet :)

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 02/11/2011 12:49

DD1 loves Pooh - she woke at 5 hugged Pooh, he talked, DH and I jumped out our skins, DD1 kissed Pooh said night night wait went back to sleep until 7am! When Pooh said time to get ready - DD1 was up the stairs like a flash to get ready. DD2 has little or no interest in him apart from trying to feed him. She has no clue what he is on about when he talks.

chocolateyclur · 03/11/2011 14:11

Hurrah, ours arrived this morning thanks to mr next door neighbour - apparently he was sent there yesterday but we didn't get a card through.

DS is in for a treat after school!

Thank you!

Lilyloo · 03/11/2011 17:48

What a lovely surprise. I had been away last weekend so didn't get my email before dp deleted it.
Then neighbour took parcel in yesterday and dropped it off today , we hadn't had a slip off delivery driver.
Total surprise. He is currently getting lot's of cuddles off dd. I am guessing the random dvd i got in the post today has something to do with this.
Will have to wait until i can prise him off dd when she is asleep to see how he works.
Thanks Smile

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 04/11/2011 21:40

If anyone was looking to buy Pooh bear, Argos have £10 off at the moment. Picked ours up today, he looks sweet, but will see on Christmas how he is received.

oinker · 05/11/2011 08:22

We have ours too.

He's set up to go and me and DH think he's great....
DS on the other hand is quite cautious of Pooh... HmmHe won't have him in the bedroom. I think its the loud voice and random unpromted comments that Pooh makes which are making DS nervous.Confused
I'm behaving like some deranged happy mum trying to convince DS to play with Pooh... Hide and seek was highly eventful ! Grin

Lilyloo · 06/11/2011 15:59

Yes the random phrase in the middle of the night means Pooh now lives downstairs. Ironically didn't wake dd but had me wandering around the house thinking one of the kids was awake and calling !

oinker · 06/11/2011 16:34

LOL

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 07/11/2011 13:22

Pooh has gone to nursery today, DD1 will not let him out of her sight, she always knows where he is and will often press his hand to see if she should be doing something. We have had fantastic sleep with her not waking until 7/7.30 most mornings. DD2 still not interested in the slightest, she will follow DD1's lead when Pooh tells her it's time to....... but will not directly listen to Pooh.

WE LOVE POOH!!
