If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a camcorder (which will need to be returned). You will be advised re filming requirements but it won't be a lot!

If selected you will be sent the toy which will be yours to keep - all we ask is that you add your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. All testers who add feedback will be entered into a draw to win a £100 voucher for the store of your choice. We'd also like testers to add a review to the Mumsnet toy review section.

If you aren't selected please do look out for the feedback thread as we'll be opening this up to all MNers to add their own reviews of any Chad Valley toys their child is currently playing with. Everyone who does so will be entered into a draw where one winner will receive a £100 store voucher.

housemum · 11/05/2011 21:42

All filled in - I did put in my comments that we'd try anything, its hard to pick a favourite, I'd have rather had the option to say what I wouldn't like (in my case would have been the design a bear as DD3 is only just 3 so wouldn't like it, DD2 would love it but she's too old as she's 8) -

Blatherskite · 11/05/2011 21:52

DS is 4 and just getting into imaginitive play. Coupled with his current obsession with Knights, I think he'd love the castle!

PigeonStreet · 11/05/2011 22:24

Done! Keeping everything crossed.

MarioandLuigi · 11/05/2011 22:28

Done and keeping everything crossed that we are picked!

AnnMumsnet · 11/05/2011 23:11

Tortoise - yes I can see you on the list.
Jaquelinehyde - can you PM me your responses and I'll edit your form?

Oooh yes will do Ann.

Tortoise · 12/05/2011 10:01

Thanks Ann. Keeping fingers crossed! Smile

aristocat · 12/05/2011 12:55

hopeful Smile

Raahh · 12/05/2011 13:08

Just done this- fingers crossed- DD1 is currently obsessed by 'Tangled' and wants to be Rapunzel, so she would love a castle to play with (the catering sized coffee jar/iggle piggle with yellow ribbon for hair combo is not quite cutting it!)

vickibee · 12/05/2011 13:11

My DS aged 4 and 3 Mo loves dinosaurs and would be more than happy to test this one

sparklystar · 12/05/2011 13:49

We would love to tes some of the products my DD enjoys new and different toys i'm sure she would love it too

CrispyCakeHead · 12/05/2011 14:11

Ooooh, pick me, pick me!!!! I My DC would love to test the dolls house!!!

Why pink though? Not that DS2 would be bothered about its colour, but it reinforces the whole gender bias in toys.

poorbuthappy · 12/05/2011 14:59

As usual I need to ask about timeframe for the random picking please....just so I know when to be disappointed!

MollieO · 12/05/2011 15:01

Ds is 6 but I think all of the toys listed are more suited to 5 and under.

Austinhead · 12/05/2011 16:45

I have a boy of 6 (plus 2 other kids outside of the age bracket). He is a very boy boy and loves dinosaurs and castle e.t.c. so would def be interested in trying those out. Also the fire engine, the kitchen or the post office.

I would be happy to video him playing with it.

AnnMumsnet · 12/05/2011 18:28

poorbut - I am closing this off tomorrow as we've had a great response. Then will be choosing folks early next week. Hoping to be able to dispatch next week too. Good luck.

fingers crossed x

littlesos · 12/05/2011 18:36

I have a 4 and a half year old girl, she'd love anything off that list to test. She's particularly good at testing to destruction!!!!

Blatherskite · 12/05/2011 18:51

I really hope we get chosen. Ds spends half the week parading round the house as a Knight, he'd be so happy if he could spend the other half playing with a Castle :)

Actually, I think he'd love any of them - including the Dolls House which I'm told is one of his favourite toys at pre school

Missuseff · 12/05/2011 18:54

My 4 1/2 year old son would be very happy and useful to you - he has a sophisticated grasp of language (I'm not showing off; it's true) and would be able to provide good observations to you about the toy - what is fun, what could be improved or changed, etc.

And he would happily play with ANY of the toys - he's not yet old enough to care that pink is for girls etc.

I'd also be happy to video him.

Sev · 12/05/2011 20:12

Hello, my youngest daughter is 5 next month and my eldest daughter is 11 (although she is autistic and plays with toys designed for much younger children) So both would be happy to test any toys :)
