Hello testers

Once you have used the Warburton Square(ish) Wraps and Sandwich Thins please post your recipes for using them on this thread. All testers who put a recipe on the thread (as well as any other feedback they want to give about the products) will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for John Lewis.

We'd also like you to email us photos of your creations for possible use on the Warburtons page on Mumsnet (coming soon!). Please send your photos to [email protected] along with the recipe title or description so we can match them to what you post on this thread.

Warburtons would also like any other feedback you have - so how did you use the Warburton Square(ish) Wraps and Sandwich Thins? What did you think of them generally? What did the children think? Any other family members get to share them? Do you think you would recommend them to other people? Would you buy them again?

The best recipes submitted here will then be chosen to feature on the Warburtons page on Mumsnet.

All those who submit a recipe and photo will be entered into a competition to win an adventure weekend at a UK theme park for their family. This competition is also open to other MNers who were not part of the test but who have a recipe to submit.

For entry to the £150 John Lewis prize draw for product testers please add your recipe by MIDNIGHT Sunday 20th March.

Warburtons Squarish wraps - Chilli wraps

Had these for dinner last night:

400g minced beef
One jar of chilli (con carne) sauce (400g-ish)
Iceburg lettuce shredded
Grated Cheddar cheese

Quite simple really...cook the mince until browned and drain the fat off. Add the jar of sauce and simmer according to jar instructions.

Let it cool down a little then add equal amounts into wraps.

Sprinkle with cheese and lettuce...wrap it up and voila...there you have it!

Quite calorific, but yummy as a treat!!

place sandwich thins in toaster cut to bread size ish and toast, then use for dipping into humous or olive oil and then into reduced balsamic or Zahter spice mix, good with a light salad lunch with friends

Very easy. Fill with sliced banana and nutella. Yum!

With the wraps: spread thinly with cream cheese, smoked salmon and a little lemon. Roll up and slice with a sharp knife for perfect pinwheel canapés.

'English Fajitas'

Ok a contradiction in terms - but just like fajitas only with 'English' ingredients!

The kids loved making these...

I had cheese sticks, ham slices, cucumber sticks and shredded carrot although any kind of meat and vegetables would work. We also had salad cream and some home-made tomato sauce.

I had all the fillings laid out in bowls and the kids each had their own wrap to do a 'create your own'.

The square wraps were fab for the kids as they were much easier to fold and had less 'spillage'.

Great for me too - and really tasty!

Fab idea x

Nommage Pizza

Thin Squares
Pizza/Thick tomato sauce
toppings of your choice
Mozzarella

Brush squares lightly with olive oil, spread a very thin layer of sauce (too much makes it all soggy). Add toppings and cheese, slap in a 190 degree oven for about 6 minutes, serve right away.

I made sweet chilli chicken wraps using the following:

Chicken
Sweet Chilli Sauce
Sweetcorn
Rocket
Grated Cheese

Very easy and tasty.

Taffeta · 04/05/2011 19:59

Cold cooked chicken, rocket, caesar dressing, bacon pieces, chopped tomato in a squareish wrap.
