this thread has put me right off my morning cuppa - please restrain yourselves ladies.

Not a q for Mr Brooker, but how can so many MNers ignore his grade A smuggery?

Hello Charlie,
Two questions, I'm afraid:
Was there a golden age of television?
Having had him on You Have Been Watching, who's sexier, you or David Mitchell?

Morning Charlie

I'm glad to see you are continuing in the fine tradition of shameless self promotion (The Hell of it All, £8.99 at Amazon) I probably won't be able to follow the webchat (oh the joys of having a proper job) I know you are local to me. Fancy coming down the pub sometime to meet my friends? I bet they can out misanthrope you any day.

HAVe never heard of Charlie Brooker
So googled him.
I think you should smile more, you must have terribly furrowed brows.

Have you played Modern Warfare 2 - and if so, what did you think of the Terrorist level?

Hello, I'm a Mumsnet virgin and losing it to Charlie Brooker. Oh my!

Charlie, in Nathan Barley, how much of you is there in Dan Ashcroft, or are you more a Nathan - or even Pingu?

Thank you for being one of the things keeping me sane!

There's nothing debatable about Charlie's picture - it's undisguised rage. With a soupcon of contempt.

Charlie, were you expecting this reaction on Mumsnet?

Another teeny question please...

Just remembered a recent guardian article where you spiff off about being a baby/child sleep expert.

Wondered if you had any tips regarding my 8 mnth old who wakes at 4.47 in the morning. Every morning. For ever.

Cheers

ps (fawn alert) that bit about camping in your last book is one of the funniest thing I've ever read

Morning Mr Brooker, I do have another question, courtesy of my husband (who actually woudl like to know what the hell all these women see in you, but that's another matter)

Anyway, Kim Bauer, annoying useless bint or hot totty?
Do you think they can keep 24 going now Jack is a grandpa and CTU and only he and Chloe have survived to be in this series?

From our nations leaders to a cantankerous columnist... Why not set yourself a challenge and see if you can get through more questions than Cameron and Brown put together.

To help you out I've added a few below:

Tea or Coffee?
Cake or Death?
Least favourite Religion?
What is your favourite piece of clothing?
What did you have for breakfast?
What are you reading right now?
Favourite cover version of a cover version?
Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Can fat people go skinny-dipping?

I'll add more as they pop into my head!

Hello Charlie, I've only seen you on TV, and for the record don't fancy you, just in case all this adoration is going to you head . I watched you on Buzzcocks this week, do you get the questions in advance? Given your poor showing I'm leaning towards "no". What's your favourite song ever. Thank you.

Hello you disgusting sycophants (and the others). I'm going to root through some of these questions and type answers in. I AM ALREADY BETTER AT THIS THAN DAVID CAMERON.

I'll get my question in early

What's the most jaw droppingly obscure telly program you've come across?

(good question blinder)

Thinking back to your 'Titted overlords' column a few months back,I'd like to know if you're familiar with Valerie Solanas' Scum manifesto?&if so,do you agree with any of it?

Policwonk, if the Tories get in I do indeed expect them to start snipping bits off the BBC to please the Dark Lord; pulling its limbs off before the emperor to make his smile widen.

They'll probably start with the online news service, then the iPlayer, then BBC3 and 4 (that's me screwed then), and so on until the entire BBC is operating from the broom cupboard of yore.

They will do this because they are evil.
