I learned to touch type in my first job as a journalist. it was great. we had to run round a room touching big letters stuck to the wall. only took a day (but I can;t do numbers).

AppleMark · 19/11/2009 14:19

David
will the swine flu pandemic be over by the time you get into power,, or answer a question...

Strawbezza · 19/11/2009 14:19

Will the Conservatives do anything about reducing the future cost to the taxpayer of final-salary public sector pensions?

WilfSell · 19/11/2009 14:19

ROFL Lenin. Go on, get some rich pink backers and DO IT!

Mr Cameron,

Civil partnerships? Ian Duncan Smith? You? Diferent views? As Harry Hill would say 'There's only one way to sort this out.... FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT'

And your policies on University governance and funding please?

The problem on Inheritance Tax is that you will lose this argument on the doorsteps - to lots of people £325k is a lot of money, never mind the £1m threshold. The "Notting Hill" comment by GB will stick.

posieparker · 19/11/2009 14:19

It's not going well so far is it? I do hope all the circling vultures journalists are watching for action

karenpearce · 19/11/2009 14:20

Hello David

Please confirm exact position on tax credits - everyone [except those earning over 60k] want to know before next election. Actual figures please.

Thankyou

Ah. Inheritance tax is a pledge for parliament. You mean it's a Wednesday policy, not a Friday one. Ie you've got some ideas for some stuff you think you might fancy doing on Wednesday but by Friday you might have changed your mind.

foxytocin · 19/11/2009 14:20

"we?ve always been clear about out how we would pay for it ? and that?s by taxing rich non-domiciled residents."

Does that mean that now Lord Ashcroft, deputy chairman of your party, will definitely be paying his taxes?

Hi David

Sorry to barge in here, but I notice you are avoiding the question asked by many mumsnetters about the wide disparity between the wealth and social class of the Tory front bench and the population of the UK as a whole. I think LadyBlahBlah put it best.

LadyBlaBlah · 19/11/2009 14:21

Raising the threshold rewards aspiration? Jesus almighty, now I know I live in a parallel universe for sure.

I mean, those people with less than a mill have NO aspiration at all.

WilfSell · 19/11/2009 14:21

Yes to Riven's question.

This isn't going to be the Biscuit thread. It is going to be the famous MN Four Nappy thread.

AgentZigzag · 19/11/2009 14:21

Go on then Wilf, while we're waiting, you ask him

FakePlasticTrees · 19/11/2009 14:21

Dear David

As Gordon seems to have his head in the sand about the whole 'spending more than earned' by the Government, are you going to cut spending or up taxes to fill the gap if/when you win? (no one really thinks that efficiency saving are going to fill that hole)

And do you realise you'll be super unpopular either way, are you ready to replace Simon Cowell as the nation's Mr Nasty or will you make George be the messenger they shoot?

(sorry, realise that's more than 1 question)
