Following on from the thread of yesterday, we're wanting your questions for the Will Young video webchat. They will be taken along by the mumsnet representatives who will put your questions to Will. A camera crew will film the interview which will then be aired on the site at a later date (as an edited clip with a link to a full version). The webchat will take place next Monday, so post your questions on this thread asap.

I put some questions on the original thread, but in case MNHQ is compiling a master list from this thread I'll add them again.

  • how did attending boarding school affect your relationship with your parents? Did you enjoy your time there?
  • do you have any advice to give to mners who have (or suspect they may have) gay DCs?
  • who will you be voting for in the next election? Were you nervous before appearing on the panel for Question Time?

Hi Will,

Hopes and fears is a fab song, but what made you do the song as a pregnant man? - its great and suits you (sir).

Do you think that you would like to be a father someday?

keep up the good work.

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 22/10/2009 21:09

You were great at Camp Bestival despite the rain. Thank you.

MrsArchieTheInventor · 22/10/2009 23:51

Hi Will, has there been any talk of an interior design/home makeover programme starring yourself and Jeremy Clarkson? On Top Gear you had some canny ideas between you and I'd love to see a Young/Clarkson house makeover!

DaddyJ · 23/10/2009 00:20

Hi Will,

Would you mind having a little Salsa dance with MarsLady?
Just to really show the benefits of this new format.

She'll lead, don't worry

MarsLady · 23/10/2009 00:39

J... you cheeky beggar!!!!!!!

Cavs · 23/10/2009 11:23

Hi Will

Firstly, why didn't you consult me on the dates for your latest tour? I've been to every one of your tours so far but you're in my nearest town on the due date for my second child so I've decided I can't risk it...

Secondly, what are your future plans, career wise? I loved seeing you in the Vortex so any chance of more theatre stuff?

bodycolder · 23/10/2009 12:29

I don't have a question just wanted to say I love your clothes! And you saying 'Get the shotgun Annabel'was the funniest thing on tv in years xx

mistermister · 23/10/2009 12:49

Hi, Will
Could you please tell me what the first CD you ever bought was? Thanks. PS My son thinks you're brilliant - he obviously knows a good voice!!

Pinkjenny · 23/10/2009 13:38

Another fan of "Get the shotgun Annabel". Has it been a conscious decision to try and take yourself a little less seriously? You do seem to have relaxed a bit lately.

I came to see you in concert twice once and I have to admit, you looked thoroughly bored. You came on stage wearing slippers and holding a cup of tea. Do you not like performing live?

BTW - I also went to your Gareth and Will tour.

cocolepew · 23/10/2009 17:14

Hi Will, Do you feel a bit embarassed that you found fame through a reality show? Had you tried to get a deal through the normal channels?

penname · 23/10/2009 20:58

Hi Will,

I really enjoyed you guest editorship of Attitude and the interviews you did. Did you enjoy the experience?

Anyway, I'd like to ask you the sort of question you were asking those you interviewed. So, how do you see the last decade for you:

  • how has it been a period of growth/not?
  • what are the major changes (good and bad) that you think have affected society in this time?
  • what do you think needs to change?
  • and how can/will this be achieved?

Sorry rather big questions!

Really looking forward to the interview on Monday!

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/10/2009 21:14

Hi Will. Did you know that I voted for you 35 times on final night of Pop Idol? Probably not. But did you think at the time that you would beat Gareth? And how do you think that your career would have differed if you had come second?

hunkermunker · 23/10/2009 22:18

Will, a jaffa cake is a cake, not a biscuit (for tax reasons, apparently). With that in mind, what is your favourite biscuit?

PS - if you're wearing a scarf, can Marsy have it, please?

hotchachachaingbunny · 23/10/2009 23:43

Hi Will

Did you ever get sick of singing covers when you were on Pop idol? You definitely deserved to win, you obviously had WAY more to offer than kareoke, but some of the others... We always thought that the contestants should sing some new songs so that the public and judges could see if you offered something fresh, and not judge you on how like the original it was.

Thanks

Fififi · 24/10/2009 13:32

Do you like Marmite? If not what do you spread on your toast at breakfast?

What was your favourite meal as a child? And now?

Hard centres or soft centres from a box of chocolates?

What do you order in Starbucks (or wherever?)

Can you maybe tell the person posing this question is on a diet?

nettie · 25/10/2009 11:02

Hi Will

Haven't gone over all the other questions so sorry if its already been asked but

Do you own a butter dish?

BaronConker · 25/10/2009 17:46

Hi Will,
I really love your song All Time Love, and the video too, but I can't work out what the vid is all about storyline-wise. Is it a Spanish Civil war scenario? And is the girl your lover or that of the other young man? And are you going to be shot at the end? Please illuminate me, I've been watching it on YouTube and it's driving me a bit mad (do you think I have too much time on my hands?)

VineGruesomeTits · 25/10/2009 18:43

So what is Simon Cowell really like?

Have you forgiven him for wanting Gareth Gates to win Pop Idol?

Who is your most favorite celebrity?

cheeseandeyeballsarnie · 26/10/2009 02:23

do you have a stylist or are you naturally groovy?
