what's NLP?

very jealous I would have loved to see him

Cod

I went to the second night of his tour a couple of weeks ago - oh my god - amazing wasn't it?

I got picked to go on stage - was truly mortified. I booked seats up in the upper circle so there would be no chance of that happening too.

Snugs · 01/04/2005 10:30

I think he picks people from up there on purpose, did that at the show I went to. I was sat next to the guy picked, he later admitted that he had spoken to db in the bar before the performance but swore blind they had not discussed anything that came up on stage.

DB is brill - but it has bugger all to do with spirits, it is just a very good stage show.

desperatehousewife · 01/04/2005 10:33

but HOW does he do it?

Tinker · 01/04/2005 10:39

Power of suggestion

Snugs · 01/04/2005 10:50

And he is a very good reader of body language which helps.

A lot of the stuff is actually very logical and easy to spot.

I think it's too clever to be just a body language expert. Cod - there is no way that the big finale he did was anything to do with smoke and mirrors or suggestion was there?

damn right!

What was your word from the paper? Wonder if it was the same as the word on my night?

Go sort your kids out and we can discuss later!

Do you remember on one of his tv shows he got the two smartarse creative directors to come up with an identity for a taxidermist? They thought they were being really clever and original and in fact all the symbols they used in their final presantation had been planted visually along the route they took to the studio and they had merely fallen in to his trap, mwuahhh, mwuahhh

So it must be along those lines of psychological knowledge and the power of suggestion and individual's predisposition.

Wish I'd seen it
