We’re a bit excited that next week we’re going to be putting YOUR questions to the legendary BRYAN CRANSTON, the man behind the enigmatic anti-hero of Breaking Bad, Walter White, as well as goofball dad Hal in the series Malcom in the Middle.

Post up your questions to this thread before the end of Monday 24 October and we’ll select a bunch of questions which we’ll put to Bryan next week during a filmed interview. We’ll upload the interview to our youtube channel the following week. Furthermore all those who post up questions will be entered into a draw to win one of two SIGNED copies of the Bryan’s newly released biography, A Life in Parts. What could be a better gift for a BB fan this Christmas?

Hi Brian. First of all I'd like to say that you are outstanding, I wholly believe everything you do as a character. I loved watching you as Hal - so many layers to that character. So funny and mad and poignant too. Perfect! WW is on another level. We loved BB in our house too and like PP, mourned the ending of an era.

My question to you is this: if you could take on any role in any film that's already been made (let's pretend it hasn't!), which would it be and why?

Rae1000 · 17/10/2016 20:43

Can you go out & about without people recognising you?

Ninja35 · 17/10/2016 20:45

Walter White was one of the most fascinating, addictive characters ever to have been created, there were so many memorable scenes and episodes with him and Jesse and their antics with bodies in baths and many more...! But which scene/episode was your favourite to shoot? And why?

Calminacrisis · 17/10/2016 20:49

Did Skylar irritate you as much as she did me after season three?

nataliesalaman12 · 17/10/2016 21:03

Hi Bryan. Did you begin to feel yourself change as your character began to care less and less about the effect of his actions on others?
Natalie

Bubblebloodypop · 17/10/2016 21:06

Were you nervous about making a Netflix show before Netflix was such a big thing?

Rogue77 · 17/10/2016 21:07

Did you enjoy working with Aaron Paul?
If you could pick a different ending for the last episode what would it be?

NurseKeegan · 17/10/2016 21:19

Who has been your favourite leading lady?

VilootShesCute · 17/10/2016 21:23

Say my name, Bryan. Oh go on, pleeease...

Pixiedoes · 17/10/2016 21:24

When researching for the role of Walter White (aka Heisenberg), where did you get your inspiration and influence from? Specifically for the Heisenberg alter ego.

Chocolateisnottheonlyfruit · 17/10/2016 21:26

My friend refuses to watch Breaking Bad as it would ruin her image of you from Malcolm in the Middle. I found you terrifying in BB. Is it true you are an accomplished roller skater as seen when you taught Malcolm to roller skate ?
Sorry it's not a more intellectual question :)

sylwright · 17/10/2016 21:26

Did you model the character of Walter White on anybody you knew? Also did you do any research into the drug world?

SusanChurchouse · 17/10/2016 21:29

You were a 'regifter' in the Seinfeld episode The Label Maker. But what's the best gift you've been given?

kateandme · 17/10/2016 21:31

your amazing.we still watch you in Malcolm in the middle repeats.my ad thinks your his idol in it hehehe.then to go on to be in awe over breaking bad.for some reason this one in particular floored me,this program came to me at a very difficult time and it was my stop gap my peaceful time.which sounds a bit odd considering the topic of it!
,and more roles you played since and before.ur work is stunning.
my question/s
has there been a favourite.
how do you get into the roles
and do you prefere a certain genre.

Hassled · 17/10/2016 21:32

How much of the roller skating in Malcolm did you really do? Do you still roller skate?

smithsurvey14 · 17/10/2016 21:46

When writing an autobiography is it difficult to decide what to put in and what to leave out and have you deliberately omitted anything from your life?

meredithlovescake · 17/10/2016 22:03

As Dad in Malcolm in the Middle, who was your favourite out of your tv children? (Malcolm?)

roseym23 · 17/10/2016 22:08

Hi Bryan, I really loved you in Breaking Bad but you will ALWAYS be Hal to me 😃😃
My question is if you could be either character in real life, which one would you be?

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 17/10/2016 22:10

I think Hal is more badass than Walter White Grin

What do you think Hal would be up to now?

FredRogers13 · 17/10/2016 22:13

How are you enjoying Saul ,Mike etc and their storyline pre Walter and is there going to be a chance you will be part of the show at some point ?

JuicyJ · 17/10/2016 22:16

Hi Bryan,

How do you feel about your latest role playing Dalton Trumbo, do you feel this film is the pinnacle of your career or is there alot more yet to come ?

Best wishes,
Justine

iklboo · 17/10/2016 22:22

Hi Bryan

Was it strange watching RJ Mitte (Walt Jnr) grow up and grow as an actor on Breaking Bad? Did you teach him anything - or did he teach you something too?

annandale · 17/10/2016 22:27

How painful was it doing all that typing in Trumbo? I learned to type on a manual typewriter and my fingers really used to sting afterwards. Or did you have stunt hands to do some of it?

Loved the film, it was fascinating, though I have never seen so many people smoke so much, even in the 50s I do think people stopped smoking occasionally...

barricade · 17/10/2016 22:48

Bryan Cranston ... Absolute Legend!

My question to ol' Sneaky Pete ... --> You've had a long and distinguished career acting/voicing/producing/directing in cinema, television, stage. How different, and how much of a challenge, was writing your latest autobiography?

Smile
ShortyShortLegs · 17/10/2016 23:03

What was your favourite 'manic craze' as Hal?
Mine was the Body Builders....or the Skating!
