I asked last week on Twitter, but was ignored.

If you have not seen his speech on Creativity in schools then you should do so now.

And the follow up speech this year

Sounds interesting - anyone else interested?

MmeLindt · 15/07/2010 16:38

Surely I am not the only one to have seen his fab speech?

There are a few interesting folk on the TED talks page, Justine.

Fab idea MmeL - yes please MNHQ.

I heart TED.

POFAKKEDDthechair · 15/07/2010 21:32

Thankyou for linking to KR's most recent speech Mme, just managed to watch it. So inspiring. And he is so funny. what a brilliant man.

MmeLindt · 15/07/2010 21:46

It is great, isn't it? DH is still giggling at "single function device"

I agree - I heart Sir Ken, I have told his story about the dancing child many many times. TED is fab, loads of inspirational stuff on there.

MmeLindt · 15/07/2010 21:55

Yes, I am working my way through the TED talks.

Watched Brian Cox today, who I don't really understand but he is good to look at and I keep thinking that if if I watch it again I might at some point absorb an understanding of physics.

Check out Stefan Sagmeister MmeLindt [self-confessed design geek]

MmeLindt · 15/07/2010 22:38

Watched Stefan, very good. I loved the subway signs, they were genius.

I think quite a lot of posters would enjoy a webchat with Ken Robinson, even if they may not have noticed this thread. I recall he is quite popular from another thread about him.

MmeLindt · 16/07/2010 12:33

I guess they would enjoy a webchat about him if they knew who he was.

Maybe I should start a thread asking about a webchat with George Clooney to lure them in.

MmeLindt, that sounds like a really good idea!

MmeLindt · 16/07/2010 15:10

Hurrah.

And bump

jollydiane · 16/07/2010 20:23

MMELindt I did listen and laughed with him. Very interesting. I had never heard of him before so thank you for introducing him.

TheBuggerofSuburbia · 17/07/2010 09:02

And another bump for the weekend.

POFAKKEDDthechair · 18/07/2010 11:51

Watch Ken Robinson on TED - amusing and inspiational.
Also Karen Armstrong - Charter for compassion. She is an ex-nun but a broad spiritual and religious thinker.

MamaG · 19/07/2010 09:25

anastaisia · 27/07/2010 01:21
