Fascinated to read about the campaign and survey after seeing news about it on morning tv, however feel that the result would be higher than 50% if you had factored in that many people who had suffered an early miscarriage wouldn't be on mumsnet! I suffered miscarriage at 7 weeks in Jan 2014 and had poor experiences of the care provided by both non-clinical and clinical staff on occasion during the process and as it was my first pregnancy, this is the first time I have accessed mumsnet. Also, doesn't the name preclude male partners? What about creating a dadsnet, which also allows men who have supported their partner through pregnancy or miscarriage to comment on their experiences?

There are a good few men on Mumsnet and also a Dadsnet section :)

and welcome to Mumsnet - I'm sorry to hear about yr miscarriage in January, I hope you find help and support and a good few laughs in you future on Mumsnet.

Actually, there are also a good few people who do not have children on Mumsnet too. It's not just about being a parent.

Is this a MN campaign? Confused
And apart from the Dadsnet topic, men are of course welcome to post on the Miscarriage topic and everywhere else. MN is rather a broad church Grin

Sorry to hear about your loss and that you did not feel well looked after.

I count myself lucky that I did, every time.
